That sounds like fun, Monika. I can just see Steve his rolling his eyes. He makes the best infuriated faces I think I've ever seen. When Romeo or Bullethead say something really stupid, Steve's expressions are priceless, lol.

As we just learned, yet again, there's no rhyme or reason when it comes to putting a show on the chopping block.

It was a lot of fun. The episode I have on tape is of Steve going to his 20-year high school reunion. He and his buddies reform the singing group they had during their high school years, only one of them got sick. So Steve's teenage son ends up performing in his place. When Steve's son hears how notoriously bad his dad behaved in school, it's a scream.

Madge Sinclair of Trapper John MD fame played Steve's mother-in-law, who lived with Steve and the boys. She was not a nag or a wimp, but someone who was fun, low-key, and worked well with Steve at keeping the kids in line. Great show! It deserved to have a nice, long run.

Here's another fun fact - Steve's character in M&TB was named Steve Tower. On SHS, he was Steve Hightower. I love that!

Lightbulb Got it!

Regina mentioned that they were in Cook County. Here's Wikipedida's writeup on it. I'm surprised that The Steve Harvey Show isn't mentioned in the Pop Cultural References section. Then again, this is Wiki, lol.

Family Matters was in Chicago too? Any clues as to what area? I've only seen that show a few times. I like it, but I just can't stand Urkel. I thought he was funny at first, then just too much Urkel.
