Lightbulb Oh Solomon, it's Show Time!

You said you would try to jump start this forum for me. I know Regina was your dream girl. She's still hot at 40. What was it that attracted you to her? Was it just her gorgeous looks, or was part of it her sassy character, Regina? Wendy Raquel Robinson is her name, for those who don't know.

Also, my husband wants to know what part of Chicago the show was set in? Are we ever told where Booker T. Washington High is located?

Well I can answer the Chicago question since I'm from Philly-lol But I think what attracted to Regina was that she was Classy with a sprinkle of Sassy-lol So that just made her even more sexy and I would defintely take her out on a date

If she had the legs of Katie Couric, Solomon would marry her in a heartbeat.

Actually, one of Regina's best assets were her legs. They showed them off every episode with those short skirts. They always had her dancing, stretching, or working out on the show, and she was always saying she had "dancer's legs". My husband looooooves her legs. I think her face is a work of art. Those eyes, and cheekbones, wow. I don't know why that woman isn't a famous movie star. Halle Berry has nothing on her, in my opinion.

Fun Fact for you

Did you know that Regina and Steve starred on another show together in 1994 called-"Me and the Boys" on ABC? It was 3 years before Steve Harvey premired

You don't have to live somewhere to know where the show took place, lol. I figure since you saw a bunch of episodes, that you'd hear them mention it. I can probably find out online in a synopsis. Yeah, I can see you and Regina together. After all, you do look so much like Steve Harvey, lol. I do see a resemblance, although you don't have such prominent teeth.

Nope, I didn't know that. Very interesting. Did you see it, like it? I'm guessing they're good friends. I know that Steve and Cedric are very close friends.

Solomon, let's not get hung up on a silly detail. I asked you if you knew what part of Chicago the show is set in. If it was mentioned on the show, I missed it. I thought since you're very familiar with the show, perhaps you remembered one or more characters mentioning it. For example, if Romeo said, "Mr. H, this is the Southside of Chicago......"

Something like that. Obviously you don't know, but I can probably find out, or a character may eventually mention it. It has nothing to do with where you live. A viewer can be aware of where a show is situated without living there.

Me and the Boys was a very good show. I wish it would have lasted longer. It finished its only season ranked # 20 and ABC canceled it anyway. Never understood that.

Now I'm curious about Me And The Boys. It sounds like fun. What was the premise?

M&TB aired on ABC during the 1994-95 season. Steve played a widower with three sons, and his mother-in-law lived with them. Steve owned a video store. I actually still have one episode on tape!
