Mama get's like what 1.1-1.2 rating, or whatever......still how can your standards be so high when your top rated show is barely attracting less than a million?

Actually ESPN compared the two last year when one of the ESPN anchors said-"The NHL game on NBC yesterday had less viewers than something called ION"

Television programmers are all about instant gratification. Considering ION only gave Perfect Strangers a half-hour slot, while all the other shows have gotten an hour proves they didn't have much faith in it to began with.

I don't understand why Mama does so well ALL THE TIME. It's been on the network since the "i" days, and still continues to do over a million for every single airing. What people are honestly watching it that much all the time? It's pretty sad when Mama's Family is doing better than pretty much everything on the CW.

I am still waiting for that answer.

Why does it do so well? Ok, I was a MF watcher when it first aired. I lost interest in it during syndication. Who are the people that watch MF? And wouldn't those people who watched MF be interested in watching shows that came from the MF era as well? I will be honest, I am no fan of Perfect Strangers, but it seems many people are and want to see it.

I would watch Mama occassionally when it first came on, but eventually lost interest after I realized the show was in it's fifth cycle. I just don't understand why the show is so popular.

I also don't understand why ION would rather ditch Mama's Family at 8pm on Thursdays if it does so well. Airing Family Feud instead of Mama on Thursdays before the movie doesn't make much sense to me. Then again, nothing ION does makes much sense to me.
