Yeah!!!!!!!! It is about time, man! If I had my way, I would beat up every TRL fan. TRL is the cause of why MTV sucks and also why we have no Beavis and Butthead! I feel sooooooooooooooooooooooooo releived. PRAISE DA' LORD!!!!!

Thanks for your nice words! I apologise if I gone a little too far describing some things about TRL, but whenever I hear something other people do not care less about, my mind goes blank. I happen to be very patient and I thank you for mentioning my name because I am sure someone for MTV or a friend of MTV will read this and think to himself or herself and say,"Wow, maybe MTV should be itself again. I guess we are perfect at all." One of things I learned in my life is to be myself. It is OK to be fan of popstars, but those popstar fans have to realise and accept the fact that MTV is not perfect. MTV and all of us are all equal men and women, but we all make mistakes. My point is that satisfaction is the magic word for a better MTV.

You're welcome. You don't have to apologize because I was going to say the exact same thing. MTV is just slipping farther and farther down the tubes and I don't think its going to come back up.

I loved watching Beavis and Butthead. I know since I'm a girl, that must be odd to hear that a girl could like watching B & B. It was funny. I still don't understand why they didn't show reruns on MTV after B & B went off the air. I would rather watch a marathon of B & B any day then watch the hundred episodes of "Road Rules" or whatever its called.

I really hope Beavis and Butthead comes back. I'm a huge fan of them. They're my favorite cartoon.

Hey, would this work? If I went to petitiononline.com and created a petition to direct to carson Daly to put Beavis and Butthead on for at least five days a week. And TRL is the cause why Beavis and Butthead ended. B&BH went off the air in 1997, not just because of the series finale, but also because there were talks of this video show called TRL. Although pop stars did not invade and knock out people's minds until 1999, TRL already fell on its ass. And it got worse. From my comprehension, Carson watches videos for 30 seconds and then flirts with girls and some guys between twelve and 17 or so. I am not just going to blame this on Carson, but on BSB, N-Sync, Britney(The Biggest and Hardest fall of them all who is credited for all the stupid crap she has done, not just in her carrer but also in her life!) Mandy, Jessica, Christina, and any female pop star who is trying to follow Britney's lead. America and to you to, MTV. Pop music sucks! We want heavy metal. Not stuff Britney would listen to. I want to hear Mr. Anderson yell at B&BH. Pop music is not all that popular at all today! Finally, you do not have to dress sexy to be cool! There is no such benefits from dressing like a beach bum,OK! Sorry if I babbled on, but I am more than fed up with Britney and TRL. This world is not perfect. This world is not ruled by Britney or Carson. God is our Lord! Get that straight. Finally, I hope MTV gets bad ratings soon. Thanks to Carson's flirting!

Beavis and Butthead are among the very few current shows I like..the best in fact.Mike Judge now in Spy Kids and some gal named Tracey Grandstaff do many of the voices and another actress is Georgia Peach (apparently her REAL name!).

I have two tapes of their shorts and their Paramount 1996 movie blockbuster with guests Robert Stack, Cloris Leachman, Eric Bogosian (Talk Radio-I'll add that to my list of 80s movies, see movie chit chat and "Best movies of the 80s, see by my name), Demi moore and Bruce WIllis.

The tapes of their usual MTV shorts are: WORK SUCKS and LAW-ABIDING CITIZENS.

Just saw last name, LAW-ABIDING CITIZENS, dating from 1996-1997. Favorite episodes:
SEXUAL HARRASSMENT-known guest voice: Tracey Grandstaff
Bavis and Butthead learn about sexual harassment, especially when they charge that Kimberly's "giving them a stiffie". They then take the girl to court! Then they get the hots for the (female) judge

PRANK CALL: -guest voices beleived to be Georgia Peach, Tracy Grandstaff, and possibly some males.Beavis and Butthead believe in getting as many prank phone calls as possibly so they target one "Harry Sachz"(get it) for some hilarious vulgarieties over the phone. Looking at the teenagers's phone number (at least one of theirs; they're obviously NOT related) digitally processed on his answering machine, harry Sachz manages to return the call but the teenagers' stupdity only saves them one more time. Asking Beavis and B-head for their address (not knowing that they're friends not siblings but again off topic), Harry winds up with Beavis and Butthead seeing neighbor Stuart And-I mean Stephenson's addressees, and send Sachz to that. SOOOO as a result of this, when a nice family activiity's interrupted, it';s Mr.Stevenson, not Stewart (his son) who'se worked over bY Harry who only returns home to find he HASN'T gotten rid of the offenders! This and about four others are included. Also, one with then president Clinton (impersonated of course) has Daria-NOT voiced by Janeane Garofalo but by Traci Grandstaff.

The WORK SUCKS one has
stuff like hippie Van Drisen, the often seen teacher (SEXUAL HARRASSMENT and others) teaching B&Bhead how to do household chores, but despite being warned that they're not to clean boomer-era (this oughta bring back memories) eight-track cartitridges, our antiheroes clean 'em anyway..I'll not spoil things.

If you do that petition post the link here. I will gladly sign it. The thing about the pop music, if I don't dig the musicans that are on the scene that's when I dig out my cds and listen to them and I keep the channel on CMT. CMT is getting to be as bad as MTV in some ways (Total Request Live - (MTV) Most Wanted Live (CMT)
