Does anyone know if Ted's real life wife, Mary Steenburgen, ever guest-starred on Becker?

I don't think so; I've seen a lot of the episodes and I don't remember ever seeing her.

I think they mentioned a son in one episode; but I'm not 100% sure.

Janice, Mary Steenburgen was on the final episode (Episode 129). She had a very small role, she played a patient coming out of Becker's office, she claimed to be friends with the Roosevelts. Becker didn't go off on her, he just said whatever or something like that. Mary Steenburgen, instead went off on him and said "Don't Patronize Me! I do know the Roosevelts!"

Becker states as she leaves, "I would hate to be the guy who is married to her"

Also on that Episode, Margret tells Becker that there is a Mr. Nielsen in room 1. Becker looks at the chart and says these numbers are not too bad, I don't understand what the problem is. What is funny about this, is Mr. Nielsen was the writers creative way of symbolizing the "Nielsen Ratings".

"Carla" from Cheers played Beckers Psychiatrist...he drove her to insanity though..lol..

Rea Pearlman as a Psychiatrist was very funny. Only Becker can drive a Psychiatrist crazy.
