wow thats a bit of a tough one...but ima go with laurel & hardy because i just laughed more at that not to mention 1 of my fav memories as a kid was watching laurel & hardy with my grandfather LAUGHING OUR ASSES OFF!!!...that was my grandfather's fav show.....he got me into that....r.i.p manuel delgado

Exactly. They were both great but for different reasons and different eras. In
addition, I'd like to point out that (from what I have read) Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy had a more friendly relationship offscreen and that genuine fondness shines through even onscreen. Bud Abbott and Lou Costello, from books like LOU'S ON FIRST by Chris Costello (Lou's daughter) I gather that the pair did not have a very harmonious partnership off camera. However, I should point out that Bud was grief-stricken by the news of Lou's death and acted as one of his pallbearers. |

I'd say they were both great, but for me A+C's on screen chemestry was unrivaled, especially considering their complex relationship.
