Richie smiled and walked over to Terri's bed. He smiled as he said "Well, it looks like the patient is finally awake! Let me get Dr. Reyes!"

Richie walked out of the room to get the doctor and Janet smiled as she went to Terri's bedside. She smiled and asked "How are you feeling honey?"

Terri smiled and said "Like I got hit by a ton of bricks! I had the strangest dream though!"

Jack smiled and looked at her and asked "What kind of dream sweetheart!?"

Terri looked at Jack and asked "What did you say?"

"I said What kind of dream sweetheart!?"

Terri shook her head and said "What is my last name? Who am I married to? Do I have kids?"

Jack looked at her and smiled as he said.....

"You know that's funny, Kate asked the same thing." he told her. "You're last name is Tripper and you're married to me. We have twin girls named Bailey and Caitlyn." He reminded her.

Terri heaved a sigh of relief. "What happened to me?" she asked. "Ter, you had a car accident. You need two new kidneys. Kate and Larry each donated one to you." Her eyes got big. "Oh my god, that part of my dream was real?"

Over in Kate's room, her parents were listening to her talk about her dream.
"It was so weird. You two died and the three families went to Fantasy Island. Terri and Jack had an affair and then Richie and Janet had one and..and..and."
She was getting worked up. "Just relax and try and rest. It was just a dream."
"Who am I married to?" she insisted on knowing. "Who are my kids?"

Kate's mom smiled and said "Honey! You are married to Larry and your kids are Emily and Timothy!"

Kate breathed a sigh of relief. Meanwhile over in Larry's room he was confused. Finally Janet and Richie walked into his room and asked Janet asked him "How are you feeling?"

He looked at her weird and said "Okay...."

"What's wrong Larry?"

He looked at her and smiled and said "Nothing...."

Richie and Janet smiled at each other and Richie leaned over to kiss Janet. Larry asked "Okay, are you two back together?"

Richie laughed and said "Are you sure you didn't bump your head?"

Janet laughed and said...

"Larry, we've always been together. You were at the wedding. Don't you remember we got married a year after you and Kate?" She looked concerned.
Larry closed his eyes. This was all very strange to him. He didn't remember anything. "What happened? Is Kate okay?" he asked.

He kept insisting on seeing her. He needed to know that she was okay.
She was doing the same thing in her room. Terri was also confused.

"I wonder if Kate and Larry had the same dream." she said to Jack.
"Well, there's only one way to find out." "I'll be right back." He got up and
walked out the door.

Jack walked over to Larry's room and found a confused Janet and Richie staring at Larry. Larry smiled at Jack as he walked into the room. He asked "Okay! So who are YOU married to?"

Jack laughed and said "Man, what did they give you?"

"Cut the comedy and just tell me!!"

"Testy! Well, if you must know I am married to Terri!"

"I had the weirdest dream!"

"That's what Terri said!"

Janet smiled and said "So did Kate!"

Jack smiled and said "I think we need to get everyone together in Terri's room so we can have them compare notes. I have a feeling this is going to be an interesting story!!"

The nurses helped Larry and Kate into wheelchairs and they were wheeled into Terri's room. She smiled when she saw her friends. Then she said.....

Kate smiled at Larry. "Hi hon." She kissed him. "Hi sweetie." He kissed her back. They said hello to Terri and hugged her as well.

"Okay, You three obviously had the same dream. Let's compare notes and see what everyone came up with." Richie grabbed a pen and pad and was ready to record everything.

"Terri why don't you go first." Richie suggested. "Okay, well, the couples were Kate and Larry, Richie and I and Jack and Janet, Kate's parents died and we all went to Fantasy Island. Larry went out and bought Kate a new kitten because he had to put Jasmine to sleep, old age or something. Then Kate bought a new kitten named Richie after her other male kitten died from getting neutered or something." Jack was laughing and apologized. "I'm sorry, it's just i'm trying to imagine Richie as a kitten."

"It was pretty funny, he growled." Janet laughed and said. "Yep it sounds like Richie." she was doubling over in laughter.

Larry smiled and said "It gets even weirder. Jack you and Janet were on the island and we played a joke on you. We were going to leave you on the island. Well, you got mad and yelled at Terri and weren't talking. Well, Terri got sick and ended up back in the hospital."

That's when Larry got silent. Kate smiled at him and said "Do you want me to continue?"

Larry nodded and said "Please!"

They waited for Kate to take a drink of water and then she continued....

"Well anyway, Terri was released from the hospital. Then Jack and Janet separated and she went home to Indiana to visit her parents. While she was away. Terri and Jack had an affair. Then, Janet came back and had an affair with Richie. Kate started to get hoarse and Terri took over from there.

"Yeah, Jack and I kidnapped the kids and were going to start a new life in Houston, but, Jack talked me out of it because Richie filed a custody order.
So, we came back and Janet called me a slut and slapped me in the face and
then I told Larry i'm glad we never got married because he was not a very good lover. So he slapped me and I punched him in the eye."

Jack, Janet and Richie were laughing so hard they were crying. "Lordy Lordy Lordy...Then what happened." Larry took over.

Larry smiled and said "Well, then Terri was leaving Richie's house. I tried to stop her and she told me to go to hell. She came back to tell Richie off and to tell him that she wasn't leaving her daughters. Then she started having stomach pains. Jack took her to the urgent care center and she was diagnosed with stress!!"

Terri laughed and said "Jeez, I wonder what I could have to be stressed about?"

Jack leaned over and kissed her. She smiled into his kiss and said "Wanna take over Kate?!"

Kate smiled as she started talking....

Kate took a drink of water and started to talk. "Well, it turns out that Terri wasn't stressed. She hadn't been taking her medication because she wanted to give up cause she thought everyone hated her."

She went on to tell them that everyone made up and Terri was released a week later. "We all gathered at Richie's and suggested that Jack and Richie simply switch houses. Well, Richie and Jack got upset. See Richie fell in love with me and Larry fell in love with Terri. Janet and Jack had fallen out of love with each other. So, Kate and I were getting ready for bed when he asked me if I wanted him to sleep in the guestroom."

Terri took over. "Yeah, Kate told him to pack and they were going to leave, that's when the big one hit and that's when I started waking up." Kate and Larry said the same. "Yeah, that's when we started waking up too." Jack, Janet and Richie were glad that they were done. Their sides couldn't take anymore laughter.

Terri laughed and said "Could you imagine me being married to Richie?"

Richie laughed and said "Hey! What's wrong with being married to me?"

Terri smiled and said "Oh nothing dear!" This brought a chorus of laughter from the friends. Jack leaned over to whisper something to Terri. This caused her to blush and she looked up into his eyes and said "I love you to Jack Tripper!!"

They kissed and Larry smiled and said "Get a room!!"

Terri and Jack merely looked at each other and smiled. It was apparent they were deeply in love. Janet turned to hug Richie and Kate and Larry hugged each other. Then Jack whispered something that brought a smile to Terri's face. Something he had never said before "Together we can do anything!"

Terri nodded and looked at her friends and felt the tears well up in her eyes as she said. "I love you guys and can't wait to see what the future holds for all of our families."

The others all agreed, they were truly blessed with love and family they could do anything.
