sometimes corny jokes, they had some really great guest stars. And Roy Clark and Buck Owens were two of the best entertainers around. Everyone on the show really seemed to enjoy being there. |

Hola!
Hee Haw came on at 6 PM on Saturday evenings where I was raised, and Saturday dinner and this show went hand in hand. Great characters. Junior Samples, Archie Campbell, Grandpa Jones, Lulu Roman, George Lindsey, plus of course Roy Clark and Buck Owens. My parents have a tape of me singing "Where or where are you tonight............" when I was about 4 or 5 years old. We likes Roy much more than Buck. Buck always wore his overalls backwards. They always saluted some redneck southern or midwestern town. (Sall-oot!) Senor |

I avoided it as a child because my grandmother seemed to enjoy it so much and my dad liked nothing but country music, so naturally I thought it must a show only "old" people would like. I would watch it now just so I could see the performances. I am older and wiser now.
