Wow! That's a surprise! "Joan of Arcadia" was one of the biggest hits of last year, and "Judging Amy" was so well-done the shows could have written themselves.

I'm surprised about Amy, not Joan. Amy in the final weeks won it's timeslot(likely aided by The Amazing Race), a rare feat against SVU.

Dammit. Well, I guess I can add CBS to my list of networks I'll no longer be watching, along with UPN and WB. I was hoping Joan would make it, I really was. And I thought maybe they would give it a chance. I hope all their new dramas fail miserably.

and by the way, to say Joan's ratings plummeted is I feel inaccurate. Yes, they did not have the ratings they did season one. But they were still number 2 in their time slot almost every single week on a Friday night. That ain't doing that bad I feel. But what do I know? I'm insignificant. I don't own a Nielson Box.

Amy went out with a bang winning in it's slot the last several weeks over SVU, so that's why it's more surprising to me.

I haven't. No way CBS picks up such a low-rated show. They are the #1 network.

Sadly, with 5 new dramas coming in, I don't think you have much chance of that happening. That's also why they couldn't keep Amy and Joan
