This is just a thread for bored people and maybe to get to know eachother.

Well, I'm not bored, but 2 or 3 weeks off work (niiiice! ) is giving me a couple minutes to check my ol' message boards...

I'm an old school surfer posting from here in extreme south OC (Ca) way west of I-5.
Currently, I try to catch about 3 to 5 Sein epis a week, I go through spurts & watch less tube in the summer.

Sein is definitely my alltime fav sitcom, & I will buy the DVDs when they are released (I own hardly any DVDs). The show is fun & I have a blast & learn a ton of SeinTriv just playing these games.
The trivia I am interested in is about thre show [& characters], not the stars & their personel stuff.

I've watched Jer stand-up since he 1st started getting late night spots (Here's Johhny) and liked him, but it was "Seinfeld" the TV show, not the stand up comedian that turned me into a true SeinGeek.

Someday [doubtful] I may finish my "episode trivia guide."

Jerry: No body said you’re fat. He’s a loving character, like the Kool-ade guy.

Clare: He is fat!

Jerry: No, he’s just a little bloated.

Clare: Good-bye!

Jerry: It’s mostly water weight.

Well I often get bored at work, well not bored, but posting on here beats working most of the time. I recall when the show began and I watched it for a short while. Then I stopped and started again and was hooked. I am glad that this board is picking up.

I mean is that all it says, Hello, and la la la?

Brian Damage
09-25-2003, 01:19 PM
This board has definitely picked up and I'm glad to see it. This show deserves alot of posts. I usually post when I'm at work. Shhhhhhhhhh! ;)

Sunday --- Browns Game!!! Looking to even out their record behind the lead of QB Tim "My hair's blonde now" Couch.

KnightFalls
09-27-2003, 12:13 AM
They got a good win in San Fran so maybe the season will start going there way.

Brian Damage
09-27-2003, 10:58 AM
What happened to Kelly Holcombe?

Brian Damage
09-27-2003, 01:51 PM
Anybody here?

sinatrastar
09-27-2003, 03:52 PM
There is now - about 4:00 eastern

MillenniumMan831
09-27-2003, 05:34 PM
Holcomb fractured his fibula and messed up his ankle on the other leg. This is pretty much Tim's chance to make or break. If he wins . . . great! He may even get his starting job back assuming he'll be paying in 2+ games while Kelly heals. If he loses to Cincy, the Cleveland fans will be on his butt and a lot of his credibility will go down the drain. Just my 2 cents.

I'm still beaming from the win at San Fran. It was the first time in a LONG time where I gave up on the Browns in the 3rd Quarter. But, they made plays when they needed to and eeked out a pretty emotional win. Stopping SF at the goal line in the 1st Q turned out to be more important than it seemed.

WeMissTripper
09-27-2003, 11:03 PM
what other sports do you like? I'm trying golfing.

MillenniumMan831
09-28-2003, 12:34 AM
I golfed once . . . once. Boy, I sucked! I knew I'd be bad, but I was beyond comedic. For every nice ball I hit about 4 that went wherever the balls felt like going. I don't have the patience. But best of luck to you. Hopefully, you live in a nice climate so you can practice year round.

Being from Cleveland, it's been pretty frusturating for the city to not have a championship since 1962 (I think). The Browns have never been to the Super Bowl. The Indians came up short in their last 3 World Series appearances and have been pretty bad for most of their tenure. The Cavs haven't made too much of an impact on the league until they drafted LeBron.

So, the city has definitely rallied around the Browns since their return in 1999 and hopefully they'll make it to the Super Bowl one of these years (crossing fingers).

wickthayer
09-28-2003, 06:24 AM
Well the Cavs were decent for a while until Jordan played them :(
Given the weak east I think they could win a good number of games if they play as a team.

MillenniumMan831
09-28-2003, 09:56 AM
Jordan was to the Cavs what Elway was to the Browns (shudders).

I think everyone would be happy if the Cavs ended up .500ish and Lebron just holds up decently the entire season. If motivated (they'll be), I think the Cavs will surprise some people. They've got 13 nationally televised game after not having one in three years.

Brian Damage
09-28-2003, 11:48 AM
Let's just hope Lebron is everything that everybody says he is. I mean I never saw somebody make so much money without doing anything.

MillenniumMan831
09-28-2003, 12:07 PM
Realistically, if he avg 10-12 points/game and a handful of assists/rebounds per game, I'd consider it a good year since he'll gave a big ol bullseye on his back. However, I expect the other young players on the Cavs to step it up since they'll all be in the spotlight via Lebron. Last year, they played like they had mono and wanted to go home.

sinatrastar
09-28-2003, 12:36 PM
He is making an obscene amount, but who wouldnt take it? LOL I just hope he doesnt pull a Kobe.

wickthayer
09-28-2003, 10:02 PM
Well the Browns blew it

MillenniumMan831
09-28-2003, 10:28 PM
Yeah, but I really think the Bengals are for real. Kitna hit some passes dead on, their defense is light years ahead of last year. I'm pretty sure their stigma as 'losers' will be shed sooner than later. To be honest, Cleveland was lucky to be in a postion to tie at the end. You can't commit 101 yards in penalties and expect a nice outcome.

These last minute games The Browns have been playing in the past couple years have been driving me nuts, and I can't tell you how much Tums I've gone through. I still can't figure this team out. They go 0-2, look like crap, then knock off the 49ers and lose to the Bengals. I just hope they show up to win vs. the Steelers next Sunday night.

KnightFalls
09-29-2003, 01:05 AM
Well the 49ers win may not mean that much considering that they got whipped in the Vikings. The Bengals are for real? Isnt this there first win? The Cardinals got beat again puke:

Brian Damage
09-29-2003, 08:45 AM
The Bengals especially Jon Kitna looked good yesterday. Yes this was the Bengals first win.

Not real fired up about baseball, I will route for the Cubs just becuase it is the popular thing to do.

sinatrastar

MillenniumMan831

Not much of a baseball fan, but it'd be nice to see the Twins have a good showing.

Man, the Colts spanked the Saints last night, 55-21. The Colts had 55 by the end of the 3rd Quarter.

As for tonight, I say go Packers. Gotta give Favre his respect.

TWINS ARE GUNNA WIN THE WORLD SERIES BABY!

I have been a die-hard Twins fan since 1987 and dammit we need another Championship! WE ARE GUNNA KILL THE YANKEES! WHOOOOOO!!!!

If you happen to watch the Twins/Yankees games on ESPN, the games at the Metrodome---look for a guy with a superhero costume made out of homer-hankeys, THATS ME!

YEAH TWINS!!!

The Twins are the only thing I love more than Seinfeld, and thus explains my leave of absense.

Browns vs. Steelers TONIGHT!!!

For the 1-3 Browns, a win means they are only 1/2 game out of the 1st place Ravens. I tell ya, 7-9 may just win this division.

Prediction: Browns with the upset (As Puddy would say, "Gotta support the team"), Cleveland just doesn't play like sh*t 2 games in a row.

2nd Prediction: 3rd string Cleveland QB Nate Hybl will be put to action after Holcomb/Couch, who are already beaten up and injury prone go down in their respective heaps.

Kudos on the sticky!

Brian Damage
10-05-2003, 01:05 PM
I like the Browns in that game.

MillenniumMan831
10-05-2003, 01:36 PM
Plus, for as much as they lose to them, they always play the Steelers tough. Last year, Cleveland lost 3 times to them by 3 points each time (Once in OT and once in the Wildcard).

They're the Kardiac Kids Version 2K2-3.

TheMaestro
10-05-2003, 07:25 PM
Sounds like the Browns are due to beat them.

Oh yeah . . . a win just like I predicted. Kinda of a dull game if you ask me. Geez, how many times are we gonna see 21 point comebacks w/ 4:00 left and GW FGs hitting the goalposts after questionable leaping penalties?!? Enough is enough NFL . . . The formula is old and we're tired of staying up till 1:00AM for same ol' same ol'.

JK, of course.

I'm going to bed, and salvage 5 hours of sleep.

Arnold wins it! Now what the heck is the media going to talk about? Let me guess Kobe, how bad the war in Iraq is going and is that Peterson trial coming up? There really should be more Seinfeld coverage in the news.
