I had a 1980 WCI HOME VIDEO release but it wasnt as early as it could be and the video looked like it had some kind of filter on it.... Disgusting for 1980!!

I know you like analog format, but VHS is the worst format to watch a movie due to its low resolution (240 line of horizontal resolution). Movies on DVD will look much better due to having twice higher resolution (480 line of resolution). Or better yet, go with Blu-ray which will have four times higher resolution than VHS (1080 line of resolution). There is a good reason VHS format is obsolete :)

The characters were bland, the kills were bland (the very few that were on screen), and the killer's motive had a already been done in the 90s. Guess I have to rely on Fear Street for good (and recent) gory slasher films.
Not that all slashers have to be gory to be good, but non-gory slashers like Final Exam at least have fun and likable characters.

The parody posters of early 80s slashers are the best thing about the movie.

Will Sasso plays the sheriff, I'm so used to him from MadTV and Hot In Cleveland, it was nice seeing him play a totally non-comedic role.

Based on Adam Cesare's book, I thought it was a really good adaption, I've also read parts 2 and 3, and I'll read part 4 when it comes out.

The Borrowers is based on a book published in the 1950s.
Honey I Shrunk The Kids didn't invent the idea of little people, or even the idea of people being shrunken to a small size, if anything Honey I Shrunk The Kids copied ideas from the 1970s kids show Dr. Shrinker, or the segment in the movie 'Head' where the Monkees are shrunk down, or the 1958 movie Attack Of The People where a mad scientist shrinks a group of teens, or The Devil Doll from 1936, where a scientist shrinks people to use for revenge.

Plus the 1960s TV series Land Of The Giants was about people from Earth crash landing on an alternate version of earth, except on this earth everyone and everything is gigantic.

Bruce Campbell dubbed the lead actors voice, Sam Raimi is one of the film's producers, though he's credited as 'The Master Cylinder', Evil Dead 2 co-writer Scott Spiegel plays one of the members of the anti-Zombie team.

It's cheesy fun, but I think this could have had more cult status had some of the scenes with the kids not been so badly staged.

Set in the not-so distant future where society has built AI robots that have replaced many human jobs, a father purchases a female android to help take care of the house and kids while the mother is in the hospital.

He reprograms it so that the robot can develop its own emotions and she eventually determines that his sick wife and children are getting in the way of his "happiness".



Very similar to M3GAN, just with erotica.

The Nanny's Madeline Zima plays the sick wife. Directed by S.K. Dale who also directed Fox's Till Death.

Shriek Of The Mutilated '74 :thumbsup: (A group of college students are led by their professor into the mountains in search of the Yeti. The students start to be killed off one by one.)

Directed by Michael Findlay, who along with his wife Roberta Findlay directed the infamous 1975 film Snuff, Michael also directed a number of adult films in the 70s.

Written by Ed Adlum and Ed Kelleher who previously made the classic horror film Invasion Of The Blood Farmers. Ed Kelleher would go on to write two horror films in the 80s directed by Roberta Findlay (Prime Evil & Lurkers)

Super cheesy fun, plus I'm a sucker for anything Bigfoot related.
