Just seeing Dooley right now!! Dennis Dittmeyer 50's hood style!!! ;) Michael REALLY played this role well!!!;) He REALLY would have been a good choice for Fonzie!!!!;) But seeing Henry and Michael together I think they would have been great together! A shame they weren't both casted!!! Fonzie more the leader , but Dooley (Michael ) his side kick or little Brother. Not quite as tough and serious as Fonzie, Michael put more of a really heartthrob , more cutie pie spin on a hood type character !!! Very fun and smiley as Michael is !!:) :love: Henry is more brooding! ;) Girls would have SWOONED over him had he been casted as a regular!!! he was REALLY CUTE!!! :heart: :eyes: :love:

Had he been the one casted as Fonzie and not Henry, he would have been good, had we never known Henry! But as I said I think he'd bring a more silly, comedic spin on the role!! Like his Dad Harvey in the beach movies!! :lol: And of course he was SO ADORABLE!!! Did I mention that before!! :D

I looked up what Antenna is showing for the marathon on the 22nd, and while I'll leave the job of posting the specific titles to RetroKatt, Bonnie won't be happy. The only Max episode is the one that closes the night, The Nearness of You. They did choose some strong Barbara episodes though.

And on the 23rd, when they start two a day on Sundays, they start with S1Ep4, and then S1Ep2. That order doesn't make sense.

I can't believe they didn't choose more Max but they have only 9 hours/18 episodes and I would think of course they would choose some strong Barbara ones. And plus you can see whole scenes hacked out of LOGO's butchered cuts but I think they'll go away once Antenna brings it back. Yes, I hate Logo because they butcher good shows. At least Antenna shows them more intact.

2 different outlet -- looks like Logo's removing it come July 22, interestingly enough with ODAAT's marathon on Antenna being on the same day. They probably lose the rights soon.

Love boat and Love American style will air back to back.:) I guess that means LB will only be on once to make room for LAS !! I don't know if you ever saw Love American style? In a few weeks, the first week of August, Sven's showing a neat 1950s vampire movie "Curse of the Undead", which is very interesting, creepy and different! It takes place in the Old West! I've seen bits and pieces of his shtick on YouTube- can't wait to see and record that one!

The listings for Monday Daytime past 10pm on the 24th is still incomplete on the LOGO website, "LOGO TBD" as usual this far out.

A 1am-4am on Logo for July 24th is still listed (However, the 12min-1am is not listed yet,but not unusal) on their guide and advance DVR listings on Comcast's website lists 12mid-4am on July 24th - no titles yet.

...and as shown in the past, they don't feed out daytime listings this far in advance, or list anyone's daytime this far our.

Nothing unusual here yet, give it a week when we have more updated information.

Again, as proven with upcoming airings on AntennaTV and now FeTV (Second Season currently, two shows per day) Sony is selling the series to different outlets at the same time, and FeTV and LOGO are running it at the same time.

Here's a fun fact- that guy who played the French Horn player on "The Car" was in Room 222 as Martin Kaufman according to the imdb! Not sure if he's related to Michael's character Mickey or not! But I thought that was a cool fact you might want to know! And- I guess Sven cut a line of dialogue between the French Horn player and the abusive guy- the abusive guy in the cut line said he wanted to shove the horn up the guy's a**! Sven cut that out, though, because I guess it was too sensitive for MeTV or something.

She probably also got up his butt when he mispronounced "nucular" for "nuclear".

Also she made him eat Annie's baby food when he forgot to bring their lunch.

But he was totally into her, no question. She played him like a fiddle.

It was hard for him to control his nether regions but he made a game attempt until she batted her doe eyes at him just one too many times.

Here's a fun fact- that guy who played the French Horn player on "The Car" was in Room 222 as Martin Kaufman according to the imdb! Not sure if he's related to Michael's character Mickey or not! But I thought that was a cool fact you might want to know! And- I guess Sven cut a line of dialogue between the French Horn player and the abusive guy- the abusive guy in the cut line said he wanted to shove the horn up the guy's a**! Sven cut that out, though, because I guess it was too sensitive for MeTV or something.

Also, Sven rearranged a bit of dialogue when the schoolteacher Lauren called the car a "son of a chicken" (Sven's version) but she really said "chickensh*t, son of a b*tch" so Sven rearranged some of it obviously. Anyone remember my first avatar? A Canadian TV Guide that seemed impossible to find. I had an Ebay alert set for Valerie Bertinelli TV Guides for years, and this one would never show up. I was starting to think maybe it was fake and just something fan made. But someone finally put it up for sale and I grabbed it. It's the most I ever paid for a VB magazine, but I'm pretty happy :wave:

I've been all into Jay Leno of all people in the last few hours!!!!:) I saw him on Alice today and remembering him from ODAAT as a patient at the free clinic when Julie went there because she was depressed before getting a job there !!;) Anyway I posted all about him on an Alice thread! I'm not ashamed to admit that I think a young Jay Leno was HOT!!!:eyes: I mean he has that thick , dark, curly type hair I like and the fun silly personality, an adorable smile!! :eyes: So what if his face is big!! On the subject of Jay Leno, he was already getting notice,and guest spots on TV - as a comedian on variety shows and an actor before his appearance on Carson (The Good Times appearance was his first scripted show and he knew Jimmy Walker from the Club Circuit - Who might have even got him the guest shot on the show.), so he was known outside the clubs.

I can see Max twice, Perrils of plastic on Tuesday and Nearness of You from the Antenna marathon!! :) Also Buyers remorse .No Max but it was a good ep. There are a lot of Bob eps.I wonder why they snubbed Max so much??:(

I want to see that missing part of The Nearness of You script where Mark overhears what has been going on between those 2 and kicks Max's ass for kissing his wife like that.

He dried his tears and offered him a pretzel? Only to be betrayed like that! :mad: I wonder why they didn't make this an angsty 3 parter where Mark finds out and they play all the beats of the betrayal?:confused: We could have lost Funny Boys and Ave Romano and some of the other clunky clunkers for that.

Well, the good news is the humidity is not as bad as it was and thanks to our pal Sven I have been on a Carole King binge lately. Love her music so much. I have "It's Too Late Baby" playing in my ear as I type. She makes me feel like a natural woman and I feel the earth move under my feet whenever she sings. But will she still love me tomorrow? In any case I will follow her where she leads me. I hope My Bradley comes back again soon. I keep missing him. :wave:

Thanks. Mom and I are actually in our own sitcom produced by Norman Lear called One Humid, Depressing but Ultimately Not So Bad In the Scheme of things, Day at a Time. We play ourselves and Netflix has just signed up for season 2! :lol:

The Nanny is a scream, I agree. My mom and I quote that show all the time. :lol: I love the classics, Alice, The Facts of Life and of course Lucy. Today's shows are boring to me for the most part. I watch the news a lot put it that way. :D

I gotta say I find Bonnie Franklin very sexy and appealing in this clip.

Think of all those retirement show pieces with her where they acted like Ann Romano didn't gave any musical talent when in reality she had a strong clear belting voice and a dancing prowess that was very impressive. She got a Tony nom for this performance in "Applause" based on the classic Bette Davis movie "All About Eve".

She should have had a Broadway career post, ODAAT.

Dammit, Bonnie! You had to die so relatively young of pancreatic cancer when in real life you spoke out against cigarettes. You were so talented in that clip with that sleek dancer's body and you should have gone on to more opportunities after the show but maybe you just wanted to live a quiet life with your husband and stepchildren.

She did release a well received tap dancing video that I should purchase and upload to Youtube. Maybe I will soon. :)

Yeah ! ;) Is your Wife's family in or near Orange county? It's nicer there than LA county!! But if you are going to be in LA, Santa Monica Pier is really fun:) and Venice beach, pretty wild and crazy but it's fun!:D Also Olvera street! It's like being in Mexico. Lots of good Mexican food, and cool, cute souvenir shops . Very quaint, kind of like booths set up not actual stores.:) But the restaurants are actual nice restaurants where you can get margaritas and stuff! I would avoid Hollywood Blvd. by all means!! It's a total dump!!:( And Universal studios? Well too touristy for my taste but you guys might enjoy it! ;)
