Watching on LOGO lately, I'm like WOW I always liked this show, but it really is a REALLY GREAT, sweet, fun show !! :) I can't see it all the time cause of my work schedule though! :( I love how the three ladies Alice, Flo and Vera are there for each other, doing a hard job with a grumpy boss!!! They seem to really love each other! :) I remember being a younger girl, working in office jobs and forming close friendships with my coworkers, made a long grueling day so much better and easier to cope with the boss!:)

A little secret!!! I think I am developing a mini crush on Mel!!!:blush: :) I'm not kidding!!! He's kind of hot really!! As a teenager when it was on first run, he was a grumpy, hairy old man!:D Now as a middle aged woman , hey he isn't bad!!!! ;) He's very masculine, I LOVE his deep, gruff voice and his eyes!! Good actors but they didn't give them anything to play with. Marcia Cross was excellent at comedy in Desperate Houswives. They really dropped the ball with her.

They were both funny on it, they reminded me of the couple from Roseanne, the wife was uptight, and Dan got along with the husband. Granted Marcia isn't uptight like the wife from Roseanne.

Kevin James was born in Stony Brook NY, and Leah Brooklyn. I'm not familiar with the regions and accents enough over there to know where the stronger accents come from.

I am from MD and we have all sorts of regional accents, the most pronounced one from Baltimore. Mine is fairly generic though I frequently lapse into my mother's Massachusetts/Md hybrid.

I love to do accents and impressions and I was very impressed with Leah when she did her generic accent for the board of directors. Spence's triumph was lost on Daisy Duke though...

We don't really have accents over here in the Pacific NW.

She still looks good. She was a regular on the series Warehouse 13 just a few years ago.

Not sure how long she lived here, but she went to high school in Portland, OR.

I've been in both areas recently and Brooklyn definitely seems to have the stronger accent. A lot of places in Long Island do have accents that sound similar to it, though.

Haha yeah, Season 1 both Carrie and Kelly knew Doug going back to Junior High. Then later on Doug and Carrie meet when Richie sets him and Doug up with Carrie and the other girl when Doug's a bouncer.
