Jinny awoke at 7:00 in her room in her dads house. She got out of bed and yanked the first things that came out of her closet and went to the bathroom to shower and get dressed.

Jinny is standing in a steam filled bathroom in her black robe when she spots something taped to the outside of the bathroom window it was a piece of paper with smeared words on it since it had rained the night before. She walked to the window bent down to read and squinted to read the blurred words. It read,
"JINNY EXTEAD WILL BE TAKEN TO DEATH WITH YOUR MOTHER!"

Jinny looked around outside to see nothing, she quickly opened the window pulled off the screen , then walked to her bedroom she grabbed a pair of gloves and went back to the bathroom.
She carefully pulled the paper off the window and put it in a zip-loc bag.
Then glancing around the bathroom to see if anything else had been disturbed she put the screen back on, closed the window, then pulled the shades down
She ran down the stairs to see her father at the stove with the smoke alarm going off and her father pulled the pan off the stove with the flame on it and put it in the sink.
Jinny reached up and shut the smoke alarm off. "Oh good morning Jinny" John Extead said with a smile.
"Mornin" said Jinny with a half smile
"Sorry, I was trying to make a nice breakfast"
"That's okay I'm not all the hungry anyway"
"OOO I'm going to be late" Jinny said looking at her watch

She ran up the steps, into her room grabbed her bag suffed the threat note inside and raced down the steps.

"Buy-bye dad" Jinny said walking out the door

After the door was closed Jinny looked behind the house.

"Hmm no footprints " Jinny said to herself

she was to afraid to be even in her back yard to long.
She went back to the front of the house and opened the garage. She walked in her gun out of its holster in her hand.
Her dad walked in.
"Jinny" He said

Jinny spun around her gun pointed at him

"Jinny its just me" he said
Jinny lowered her gun
"Jinny is something wrong?" he asked
"No uh I just thought I heard something "Jinny lied
"Oh uh" he said uncertainly "We do have a racoon that's been getting in the garage"
"That must be it got to go" Jinny said while walking towards her car

Jinny still had her gun out and by her side as she walked to her car. She looked in the windows before getting in. John gave her a weird look.


~At The Division~

Kate came out of her office
"Wheres Exstead" Kate asked
" Not here yet" Magda replied

Jinny walked in with a look of fear on her face but she tried to hide it. Magda rose from her seat and was about to say something when she was cut off.

"Exstead your late" Kate said
"yeah what else is new?" Jinny shot back
"Jinny is something wrong" Magda asked
"as a matter of fact there is" Jinny said while digging into her bag "Here" she said as she handed the zip-loc bag to Kate
"Where did you find this?" Kate asked

Magda walked up and read over Kates shoulder

"It was on my bathroom window" Jinny said while sitting down and rubbing her forehead and sitting down

"Raina take this down for prints" Kate said
Raina took the paper read it then started walking out

"Exstead Remeriaz my office" Kate said


~ In Kate's Office~

Jinny sat down
Magda stayed standing
" Okay I know what your gonna ask who can I think of that would wanna do this. Have I had any recent arguments with anyone. Maybe make another list even though no on would be in it from the last 146 days!"
Jinny yelled

"Jinny Jinny calm down" Kate said
"I-uh-I-I I'm sorry"
"I know your under stress so we'll pretend it didn't happen" Kate said
"So now what?"
"I think instead of settin officers outside your house we should have you move in with someone a stalker wouldn't expect. You and Magda think about someone"
"Okay" said Jinny as she started walking out
"Jinny call you sponsor oh and your riding a desk job"

Jinny absently nodded and walked out Magda followed her. After they were both seated Magda spoke up
"Jinny you call your sponsor I'll think of someone"
"No I wanna help"
"You can help by calling your sponsor its okay to admit you need to talk to him"
"fine" Jinny said as she started dialing

Magda started dialing and in a low voice so Jinny couldn't hear she started talking to the person on the other line, "Teddy! Magda, yeah I really need to talk to you."

oh crap i just saw that i registered my nickname wrong its sposed to be exstead.

"Was it a breakin?"

"No"
"So what do we need to talk about?"
"The captain suggested she stay somewhere undetected….and.."

"Think about the 2 exes do you think a stalker would look there?"

Teddy was about to object but Magda cut him off

"I figured we might have a chance of getting her to go if she hears that you said she can. You and I both know she won't go if you have any obligation!….. Please just think about it"

Teddy sat there in deep thought

"Well if she has a stalker won't he follow her to my building?"
"Oh don't worry about that ….. I've got that covered"
"Well….."
"Teddy will you or not?"
"Uh….. I guess"
"I can't take I guess theres to much at risk you need to know"
"Fine she can stay"

Jinny sat on her chair rolling it back and forth while talking with Dusty. Just then Magda came in with Teddy.
Jinny immediately stands up
"What's he doing here," Jinny asked
"Well Jinny I found your temporary roommate," Magda replied
"What are you talking about?…no,"
"Dusty, can you, will you…?"
"Don't say another word I'm outta here," Dusty replied
"Come-on Jinny, Teddy, lets find somewhere to talk"

Jinny and Teddy reluctantly followed Magda into one of the witness questioning rooms
"Okay here's the deal, Jinny you stay in Teddy's house" Magda said
Jinny was about to say something but Magda cut her off,
"Who would expect you staying with your ex"
"You dragged Teddy down here to ask him that? You should have asked me first I knew Teddy wouldn't agree to it" Jinny shot back
Teddy cleared his throat
"But he did" Magda said
"What," Jinny asked
"He said you could stay I've already talked to him. He said you could stay…. Jinny people do care" Magda replied
"Jinny, Magda makes a good point who would expect you to be staying with your ex" Teddy said
"And you're okay with this?" Jinny asked him
"Magda convinced me my place would probably be safest" Teddy replied
"I asked are you okay with this Teddy?" Jinny repeated
"Yes" Teddy replied rather forcibly after a long pause

"Okay here's what I think Jin," Magda said
"Go on," Jinny replied
"Okay you will go home after work and then we will have my car the caps car and some squad cars pull up, you will get in one of the cars, then all the cars drive to the division and under the building into the parking lot. Teddy's car will b parked in his normal spot for work you will get in his car… but you'll have to stay down, all the cars will pull back out, Teddy will go to his house as he normally would. And there you go," Magda replied
"Okay is there a plan B?" Jinny asked
"What's the matter with my idea?"
"Well there is one problem the captain will assign someone to stand watch outside the appartment, he could follow the car know exactly where I am"
"Good point, hmm…"
"Well I have a cop that lives a floor down, it would seem normal for him to drive down" Teddy said
Magda and Jinny looked at eachother as if saying that will work without talking
"But he'll need backup" Jinny said
"Well every once and awhile him and another cop both go to his house… see uh… they're gay" Teddy responded
"That would work Magda said do you have their names?" Magda asked
"I have a question too, how do you know so much about these guys?" Jinny asked
"Well I know because one of the guys is your brother Jinny"
"Casey?"
Teddy nodded
"So Casey Exstead and…?" Magda asked
"Joe Rians"
"Never knew he was gay" Magda said
"Well they don't go around advertising" Jinny replied
Magda gave Jinny a look
"Well I'm going to fill in the captain after that you and I are going to your house to get your clothes" Magda said
"I have to call my dad and fill him in then, Teddy you and I will work out details" Jinny responded

"So well that’s my idea" Magda said
"Could work, do you have the time my clock stopped?" Kate asked

"Yeah Jinny and I are going to pack her clothing now so we have a little less hassle"
"Aren't you concerned being Jinny's fresh outta rehab that she should be at Theadore's house,I mean I know they were dating"
"Yeah but to me it seems like the safest place"
"Okay… I'll call Casey and this Joe Rians guy"
"Thank you captain"
"Oh and I sent Nate and CD to John Exstead's to have a look around"

Magda walked back down to the questioning room and before she came in she looked in the window/mirror to see Jinny and Teddy were now sitting next to each other instead of a mile apart. She was tempted to hit the talk button so she could here them talking to each other but didn't. She stood there and watched for a minute to see Jinny smiling as she and Theadore were talking. Magda smiled to herself then walked in. As Magda walked in Jinny again scooted her chair away from Theadore.
"What'd the cap say?" Jinny asked
"She said the idea will work, and Teddy she said you should probably go back to work so the stalker won't suspect anyhing" Magda replied
"Okay Jinny I'll see you tonight" Theadore said
Magda noticed that Theadore and Jinny no longer seemed so against the idea, and exchanged glances with Jinny as Theadore opened the door to leave. Jinny simply rolled her eyes at Magda
"Oh Teddy wait up I'll walk you there so we can set up everything the captain covered with me"

After they were gone Jinny leaned back in her chair and sighed. Then she got up and headed back to her desk. Once she got to her desk she sat down and started going through files on her desk. Just then Nate and CD walked in

"Huh?"
"Didn't the captain tell you we checked out your place?"
"No but forget the Nike Rebounders they're mine"

i'll post more but right now i have a problem see i have this story saved but i decided to save it on a floppy instead so i saved it on the floppy and it was working on there so i deleted it off computer files into the reycling bin now the floppy disk deoesn't work! is there a way to get it back from the reycling bin?

Hmm, if you haven't deleted the contents in your recycling bin yet you can go restore it. Otherwise you've pretty much lost it. I know there is a way to get it back after you've deleted it. Because cops can do it (LOL- Don't ask me how I know that), but I have no clue how.

My suggestion to all writers is to keep it in more than one place. I do. And yes there us a way to retreive info even after it has been deleted, but it doesn't always work.

Hell, just move her in permantely....LOL :) Post more soon. Each time you post, we get closer to the conversation.

"Dad Kate told you that I'm not gonna be livin here till this is all settled right?" Jinny asked
"Yeah, she told me where are you staying?"
"She can't say just incase you forget and call her sometime or something. But The Division will keep you notified" Magda stated
"We're here to get my clothes dad" Jinny said
"Oh okay, and Jinny since this will be your last day here for as long as who knows when will you and Magda here stay for lunch?"
Magda and Jinny exchanged glances
"Yeah, we can stay" Magda said

Jinny and Teddy do need to be together I agree. My opinion also. And they need to be together on the show.

She pulled her gun and held it at her side. Magda ran up next to her. Her gun also out

"Well you better get back to work anyway huh Jinny?" John asked

"No I'll be fine," he replied
"Okay come-on Jin we have to report this to the captain grab your bag Jinny" Magda said
Jinny grabbed her bag she usually takes to work that’s what she had put her clothes in and in another small black bag
"I'll see you.…well I'll see sometime dad" Jinny said
Jinny and her dad quickly hugged then Magda put her hand around Jinny's shoulder as they walked out.

~ In the Car ~

Jinny sat staring out the window in deep thought
"We'll get him Jinny" Magda said while dialing on her cell
"And how do we know that", Jinny shot back
"Oh hey captain, yeah he left another note I bagged it, yeah I'm on my way

Yay, that was kinda longer...lol... I'm still not happy though. I'm waiting for my conversation scene. Anytime now. lol ;)

Jinny and Magda were back sitting at their desks going through files
"Work is over in 5 minutes" Jinny stated
"Teddy has your bags to put in his car right?" Magda asked
"Yeah, " Jinny replied
Kate came out
"Okay lets hit it Kate said, but first we'll run through what we are gonna do again. First we all drive there Jinny and Magda pull into the garage with a cop driving and swap cars then the other cops drive to The Division in the underground parking lot." Kate stated
"That’s when I get in Theodore's car" Jinny finished
"Jinny remember stay down" Magda said

~ The Division ~

All the cars pull into the underground parking lot. Teddy is waiting and Jinny quickly hops in the backseat and lays down

Jinny still laying in the backseat responds, "Can you have someone call my dad just to check on him?"
"Sure, Raina"
Teddy focussed his mirror so he could see Jinny lying in the backseat

"Spegetti, mashed potatoes and gravy"

"Okay" Teddy said walking over to the fridge and pulling out some mashed potatoes in a tuperware container and grabbing a can of cream corn and some gravy

Jinny sighed. Suddenly Teddy's computer sounded "You have mail!" Teddy walked up to the computer.
"Jinny it's Dusty"
Jinny went over to the computer and sat down, Teddy stood behind her and looked down at the computer.
"Uh, Teddy mind giving me some space?"
"I'll make some hot chocolate"
"Great," Jinny smiled at him
Jinny started typing,"hey Dusty!"
"Hey Jinny anything you need to talk, or chat about?" He typed
"Actually there is Teddy wants to know about the night you know the night before I went to that jail"
"Remember that asking for forgiveness, you hurt him too"
Jinny sighed. She glanced back at Teddy making hot chocolate
She replied," But we forgave everything"
"Did you tell him all he was forgiving for?"
"Listen I've got to go"

"Did you have a nice conversation?" Teddy asked while returning with the steaming mugs

Jinny bit her bottom lip and looked as if she would cry.

"Tomorrow's your day off?" Kate replied

CD sat on her couch with her cell phone in her hand. She started dialing.

CD hung up put on her coat and headed out

"It's okay I put Ben to sleep at 8:00"
"Thank you so much" Magda said as she dropped on the couch next to him

"Yeah, whatever well let's get off the subject please?"

Jinny lay back on Teddy's arm again, grabbed the remote and turned the volume back up

"Trust me this place is awsome" Nate said while driving In a four lane
The kept driving to see cars driving around one flipped car and the other smashed against a guard rail. One car was parked on the side of the rode trying to help the victims. Nate and CD pulled over, got out, and went over by the man trying to help.
"Hi I'm inspector DeLornzo"
"Oh so someone did call the police" the man replied
"but where's the ambulence?" he asked
"We were just driving and saw this. Nate dial 911!"
"I'm ahead of you" Nate said walking over to the flipped car
Nate reached in the shattered drivers window to feel if the driver had a pulse
"I think the drivers dead" Nate yelled to CD
Then as Nate was still standing there he heard crying
"CD there's kids in back, they don't look so good!"
CD ran over.
"Stay calm, are you Okay?"

After the children had done so Nate swung the bar and broke the glass. He cleared away the baroken pieces with his hand.
"Okay can you come here and crawl out?" CD asked the older girl
The girl nodded and and crawled out.
"Thank God the back part of the car wasn't smashed" CD mentioned to Nate
Once the girl was out CD looked her over to check for serious injury.
"She's not to bad, I'll get the little boy"
CD got down on her hands and knees and halfway crawled into the car. She grabbed the little boy and gently pulled him out. After he was out she grabbed the first aid hit she had brought out with her from Nate's car and wrapped the boy's side.
"CD we better get back this car's got gas running and it could blow up"
They all backed.
"Wait what about mommy?" the little boy asked
"We don't have time to get mommy" Nate replied
The little boy started to cry. Finally the ambulence and firemen showed up. CD let out a sigh of relief


~ Nate's Car~

Again CD and Nate were back on the road
"Poor Kids" CD commented
"Atleast they'll be physically alright" Nate replied
"Well we're back on the road finally"
"Wanna go to the cheapy theater?" Nate asked
"Sure" CD smirked

~ Teddy's Apt ~


Jinny still lay in Theodore's arms as she awoke Teddy was still sleeping Jinny carefully got up but it was no use Teddy was awaken.
"Morning we must have fallen asleep" Jinny said turning off the television set
"Yeah" Teddy said while stretching
"Gosh I'm starved what do you have to eat?"
"Whatever you want"
"OOO usually I have cheerios at home"
"Well what do you want?"
"I think I'll stick with cereal"

Magda sat in her house flipping through bride magazines when Gabe came out
"Oh come-on forget about the wedding plans for now lets go eat breakfest out your moms already on her way" Gabe said
"Ok, I'm just happy"

Jinny gave Teddy a short kiss and sat back on the couch re-buttoning her open shirt. Teddy glanced at her before picking up his own shirt.
"So how bout swimming?" Teddy asked
"Teddy I didn't bring a swimsuit usually when you have a stalker that's one of those needed things that are forgotten at home" Jinny said sarcastically
"Well I'm not stuck in the complex"
"You are not picking me up a swim suit" Jinny stated
