I always had mixed experiences with HP's but I have one right now and it has never given me any problems over the first 3 years I've had it so far, so I can't complain.

Back in like 2005-2006 I had a couple that had SERIOUS overheating issues and I know EFD's is having that same problem, and his is probably from around then too.

Yeah, I was shocked to see how cheap they were these days when I was looking at them. The one I had was from 2004 and I used to literally abuse that thing and the worst that ever happened was the CD ROM drive went out on it, but I never even used it. And the kicker was that it was one of those hot-swappable ones that you could just pop out and put a new one in.

The only reason I stopped using it was that the inverter went out in the screen and I had no desire to attempt to repair the screen on a 7 year old (at the time) laptop.

In that case, you've earned the day off.

Ohh man, what a meal.

Had the usual Turkey, Ham, Stuffing, Baked Beans, Broccoli, Cauliflower, Macaroni and Cheese and a Roll, and there's more stuff I haven't even eaten yet because I'm about to go to my aunt's house.

Needless to say, we're all stuffed.
