I used plaster and coated it with wood stain. It took me a really long time...blah. And it was supposed to be semi-sexual - the arching back, the head flinging back, the little stumpy arms closing in on the hollow interior. It's a humanoid instrument. ThirteenInchEscape 11-20-2004, 02:47 AM we have a week, so that is good stuff...next year when I'm living right off campus I should hang out with all the international students, they are so much cooler than the domestic ones ;) Thanksgiving has got a little bit better since I've became friends with Caitlyn, since our families almost always have it together. Mine would have to be the Thanksgiving I spent with my father's brother's family, I was very close to his two daughters, growing up. We got in major trouble for sitting in front of the oven as the turkey was cooking and making up a name and an entire life story for the turkey, ending, of course, in his tragic death. His name was "Peabody." I think the thing that really got us in trouble with the adults is when we taped a sign to the oven door that said "What if the Virgin Mary had killed Jesus and cooked him up for Thanksgiving?" That was my idea. I was the brains of the group. Chambers 11-20-2004, 02:55 AM HAHA. Oh my god. You should work for PETA. Pirate Jenny 11-20-2004, 02:58 AM Originally posted by Chambers HAHA. Moondance 11-29-2004, 04:18 PM CHEERS/FRASIER dream ~Long Dream - make some popcorn~ This is one dream in 5 parts: I was inside the Paramount studios and accidentally wandered onto what was left of the "Frasier" set. I saw the black chair that usually sat near the window view (it was green for some reason) The doors leading to the set were double doors made of glass, with little red handles [to open]. I opened the doors and went in - Kelsey Grammer and David Hyde Pierce were in there taking props and hiding them in their coats. I asked if I could take things, too, and they didn't care. To the right of me, was the Frasier bedroom set - I was looking for anything that was worn by Bebe Neuwirth...shoes, in particular. I found a pair of shoes that she wore on "Cheers!" Kelsey wouldn't care if I took them. I needed to get out of there as fast as I could with the shoes in my hand. A camera crew came out of nowhere. The police were coming, so I ran. Kelsey and David were still on the set, hiding. I hid somewhere until everyone left. I returned later and Kelsey, who was being Frasier and David, who was Niles, were trying to hurry off the set. As they were leaving, Niles dropped a lit cigerette; it started smoking and catching fire to the set. Frasier yelled, "Oh dear God, NILES! What have you done?" Niles ran. II. I was taken home by my mom's best friend, and he lived down the street for some reason. I found out that I had given birth to Sam Malone's son! It was a surprise to me! I had no idea that I was pregnant. I entered a surprise baby shower - in the car they told me that they were taking me to see BETH! They lied! I managed to stray from the party and found Sam in my bedroom, because I was spending the night there - he put his arm around me and kissed my neck, saying, "I didn't know you were here." I eventually left him and tended to our baby. III. I was back at the studio. I ran into Kelsey Grammer again, he kissed me and wanted me to meet him on the roof of studio 25. I went to craft service and got a corndog. Then I went up on the roof, still eating my corndog – he was up there waiting for me. (Yeah, that was a weird part of my dream….so provocative in a way) IV. After my tryst with Kelsey, I returned to the “Frasier” set to retrieve a bear – there were guards there watching the studio. I told them I left it in there. One of the guards offered money to me, only if he could have the bear. I agreed. V. I found a nostalgia store where I made wishes for toys and they suddenly appeared. I wanted a “My Buddy doll”, “Kid Sister doll (red hair)” - I’m thinking that I wanted that particular Kid Sister because that was the doll my mom didn’t buy me. She got me a blond kid sister. I still have it, it’s just that I wanted a red –headed doll, LOL! Anyways, that was my dream!!! Frasierfan1983 11-29-2004, 08:09 PM That was a great read, Moonshine! It's part of my torture chamber idea for my next art project. Shut up. I'm sane. Pirate Jenny 11-30-2004, 01:17 AM Originally posted by Chambers Hey, look at my devil. Scary, huh? Chambers 12-01-2004, 11:38 AM I meant this thread has to be at the top of the board. It's raining so much...I don't want to walk to class. Brian Damage 12-01-2004, 12:07 PM I love the rain. I hate driving in it, but otherwise I like it. barwars 12-01-2004, 02:39 PM Originally posted by Brian Damage I love the rain. I hate driving in it, but otherwise I like it. Me too. I like when it rains at night.... very easy to fall asleep to. Chambers 12-01-2004, 07:57 PM I like rain when I'm indoors. But it sucked today. The winds were so strong that they broke my umbrella. Brian Damage 12-02-2004, 12:23 AM Yeah the wind really knocked out some roads here in NY. Alot of downed trees and utility poles. CliffClavin 12-02-2004, 11:05 AM I have a check up & teeth cleaning today. Pirate Jenny 12-02-2004, 01:21 PM Originally posted by CliffClavin I have a check up & teeth cleaning today. Oh boy! Pirate Jenny 12-02-2004, 02:13 PM Originally posted by CliffClavin Wake up on the wrong side of the bed this morning? Hah. Witty. Actually, yes, I did wake up on the "wrong side of the bed" after a grand total of 50 minutes of sleep after studying for a test in Physiological Psychology. I'm dealing with a full course load, I work the entire weekend, I'm worrying about how I'm going to be able to afford Med School, I'm working hard to stay at the top of my class, and I have my own personal life that I still have to sort out. Aside from that, for the past 6 months, not only have your comments been irritating, but at times offensive and womanizing (to myself and others), and I shouldn't have to feel myself or others objectified, nor should I have to watch your little drooly smilies when you think about what you'd like to do to a woman. Nor do I want to have to hear about your teeth being cleaned. This is not just a "getting up on the wrong side of the bed" thing. This has been an ongoing issue that has been building up for months. Do you understand, or is this too long for you? If I'm cutting into your 15 hours of TV time, I'm sorry. CliffClavin 12-02-2004, 02:44 PM Actually its short & I understand it perfectly. Whats with people & my TV ?, geez. ThirteenInchEscape 12-02-2004, 04:01 PM Also, you're being womanizing towards Marcy is ridiculous, seeing as she is more intelligent than you could ever hope to be and is your superior as a human being in pretty much every way. and Marcy: Is your next semester work load a little bit lighter perchance? Chambers 12-02-2004, 04:13 PM Originally posted by ThirteenInchEscape seeing as she is more intelligent than you could ever hope to be and is your superior as a human being in pretty much every way. That statement sounds like a Nazi slogan (which should make your attempt even more disturbing to Marcy). Let's not gang up on each other, ok? ThirteenInchEscape 12-02-2004, 04:20 PM that is in no way like a nazi slogan, I wasnt stating that she was genetically superior, I just meant that based on her abilities and behavior it is my contention that she is a person that Clavin should respect regardless of her gender. |
