Man, I'm in a mood to watch all my tapes, but I have too many of them now. Add to that I started taping in SP (the majority of my tapes are SLP).
I tape mostly in LP. I've grown to hate SLP.
You know, I'd be able to put a chair in my room if it weren't for all the tape cabinets I have. I have soooooooo many tapes.

Seems a few people decide to leave their sense of humor at the door when they come here. It's sad that you have to make sure people aren't offended every.single.time you give an opinion - or any other time for that matter. But, I did read through those threads and... I agree.

Mostly likely it is the FH board. Why don't people ever use the ignore feature, rather than going the "They need to be banned, banned I say!" route. ohno:
Anyway, you don't deserve to be banned.

There's a movie message board I've been lurking around for a few years, and believe me, if you wanna see egos and elitist attitudes... there's your place. It's a great board and all, but there are a few members who seem to feel that the world DOES revolve around them. I don't see that here. Tired of dumbasses, yes. Good times.

Yeah. I was only 13, but I was already a fan of late night. I started watching Letterman when I was 11 (A&E had reruns of Late Night With David Letterman at that time, and Comedy Central was already showing reruns of SNL).

Yeah. And Leno was a bit more pudgy, too.
I remember watching Letterman on NBC.
I also remember the fact that the night he had his first CBS show, Conan wasn't going to start for another two weeks, so NBC showed the first episode of Late Night With David Letterman that night. It was kind of weird - two hours of Letterman.

"I wanna watch it, it's The Daily Show

Come on and watch it, it's The Daily Show..."

If you catch some late '80s-early '90s SNL episodes, Conan (who was a writer on the show at the time) shows up occasionally. He's in the famous Tom Hanks "Five Timers Club" sketch.

It was an old standard before it was used as the theme to DW, though. Written by Hoagy Carmichael and Stuart Gorrell, its most famous version is the one sung by Ray Charles.
I sang it in Jazz Choir my senior year.
