This is just so ridiculous that I had to post it.
Couple attacked by bullet-shooting oven HOWARD, Wis. -- A man and his wife took cover behind a refrigerator when bullets began exploding in their oven, authorities say. Capt. Craig Kohlbeck of the Brown County Sheriff's Department said the husband had put the ammunition and three handguns in the oven before the couple left on a vacation. He told officers he thought the items would be safe there in case someone broke into the home while they were away. They had apparently forgotten about the bullets by the time they returned from their trip Tuesday -- the wife turned on the oven to prepare dinner and the bullets ignited, Kohlbeck said. No one was hurt.

I'm just glad they're OK! Talk about a major case of scatterbrain.

Good Lord, how absentminded can you be? I've always had a long list of reasons of why I will never have guns in my house, now I have another one, the oven might retaliate at me!

Glad they're okay, but how can you forget you put a gun in your oven?

Yeah, you've got to watch those ovens around here! They're pack'n heat!
Good thing he didn't put them in the microwave or they might not have had time to run for cover! |

Not as bad as the guy who used a round as a replacement fuse in his headlight, causing the cartridge to ignite and lodging the bullet in his crotch.
On another note, I wonder what caliber the ammunition was...

Mmmmm..
Nothing I enjoy more than hot, fresh, bullets. Now you can enjoy that same great taste at home with Pillsbury Pop N Fresh Bullets. Just pop a few clips into the oven, and in no time you'll be running for cover. They come in two delicious flavors; hollowpoint, and cinnamon. They're available in your grocer's freezer or your local gun shop. Just look for the lil' Pillsbury Dough Boy wearing a flak vest.
