Exclamation Missing Tag Scenes

They are around.... somewhere.... At least, I haven't seen Nick-at-Nite airing them. How do I know this? I originally recorded "We Got the Beat" in June 1995 off ABC, and there was an intro tag scene where Michelle is writing in her room, and Nicky and Alex comes in and tells Michelle a joke. I have created screenshots and an audio file along with the season eight intro song. I will upload the intro song maybe tomorrow because I don't have it with me at the moment. Here are the pics:

Michelle is shown writing in her room.

Nicky and Alex come in and say, "Michelle! Michelle! We have a joke for you!"

Michelle: Okay, boys. Lay it on me.

Boys: What has four legs, a tail, and can bark?

Michelle: A dog?
Boys: She heard it. [leave the room]
Michelle: [smiles and continues writing]

When I recently recorded "We Got the Beat," I noticed this intro tag scene wasn't aired. Does anyone else remember any others not aired on Nick-at-Nite for tag scenes? Share them here.

Well, that's unfortunate that these scenes aren't being included. Hopefully if a DVD is released these will be intact.

They were edited out obviously. Time constraints. I have seen other networks edit tag scenes out all the time on some episodes of other shows.

I knew that because I'm pretty familiar with the whole syndication editing situations, but I was just wondering if anyone else remembers any other tag scenes they can type up here and/or provide pictures like I have. There must be other unaired tag scenes from Full House who know and who can share.

Probably not, unfortunately. I didn't think about recording anymore. I mean, I do remember recording the first episode of season seven when they miss the camp, but I think I lost that tape. I will check my archives, but I doubt I have more than two.

Actually, I believe that was a "teaser" scene. There was no "tag" at the end of "We Got the Beat." Only a few episodes, really had "tag" scenes. But that was a good idea to post that missing scene. A lot of teaser scenes are missing on both Nick and Nite and ABC Family and it would be nice to see them again.

From "Raising Dad" a short lived sitcom with Bob Saget of "Full House" fame.

I have a lot of the season 7 episodes, along with "The House Meets The Mouse" on tape, but for some reason i dont have the teasers. I recorded these off of TBS.

"Full House" has no tag scenes for the first two seasons and the rest of seasons 6-7.

I know that a teaser is the little comedy bit they air before a show to "tease" you, but what exactly is a tag scene?

Thanks for the explanation! I never knew there were different words for the beginning and ending of the episodes. Thanks for the clarification!

A "tag scene" is a one- to five-minute clip at the end of the half hour just before the credits. True, Full House had very few of these (examples would be "Our Very First Telethon," "Beach Boy Bingo," and "DJ's Choice"). In other words, they're nothing more than end clips. Shows like Three's Company and Roseanne were big on tag scenes. Those so-called teasers (the beginning of the show were more common in Full House.

Actually, season two was the first season where teaser clips were shown.

I only have one episode originally recorded off ABC back in 1995 ("We Got the Beat"), and I have some from TBS or WGN, but half of my other recordings of FH are either from my local UPN station that was airing FH episodes in 2003 or from Nick-at-Nite. I will have to compare the TBS/WGN/local UPN to those from Nick-at-Nite.

Sorry I can't make a video file of it now, but maybe in the coming weeks when I have more time.

This is not a tag that was deleted but this is a scene deleted from the end of Happy Birthday Part1 during syndication. This takes place in Michelle's room after Danny says they have more decorating to do.
Becky: Ooh.
Jesse: You up for contraction?
Becky: No I couldn't be. I'm not due for another three weeks.
Jesse: You know my stomach has been bugging me a lot too. YOu have to stay away from Joey's Coca Puff omlets.
Becky: Yeah. Just some pains and indegestion. That are coming every nineteen minutes. You little ones trying to tell me something?
The end.
I will try to get pictures soon.
