I'm not sure if it will help any, but I started a petition at petitiononline.com to try to get the unsolved cases to be aired and to stop airing the solved cases. I know some people like to see the solved cases, so anyone who likes to see the solved cases aired, that's okay, you don't have to sign the petition if you don't want to. But, for anyone who would like to sign the petition the link is below. I don't know if it will help any to sign a petition, but it can't hurt to try.

Oops. I addressed the petition to Robert Stack also. That was stupid. He's passed on now. Oh well. Maybe his ghost will be reading the petition if the people who air the show ever look at it.

I just don't want solved cases from the 80s and early and mid 90s to air on the Lifetime-produced episodes from 2001-2002. That is SO annoying. I like the old episodes though.

I like ALL the episodes not just the unsolved ones. It's not as if they are creating new episodes.
Just recently they played an old episode that has been solved for years but I kept missing it and finally saw it. I think her name was Maria Alexander or something like that. She was schitzophrenic and killed her boyfriend. |

I do also like the older segments better. I liked the darker image and Stack's voice in the earlier episodes(not to mention the intro which I loved from 1987-1993).

I agree....I'm tired of Unibomber junk.......and of old solved cases and also I wish they could at least put a voice over update. Otherwise I get tired of watching when I know the case is solved.
It makes the show seem terribly dated when it's all old news. |
