I know i said i wouldn't be posting for a while, but i just couldn't hold back myself. lol I hope you enjoy this fic.

A beautiful day

„What a beautiful day“ CD said when we came to this forest.

It was a beautiful day indeed.The sun was shining in the sky and the birds were singing. The beautiful spring afternoon.

“So a white dress,huh?”

“Of course!”

“Ok,if that’s what you want.

“It is, and you’re gonna wear a tuxedo?”

“No way….i don’t wanna look like a penguin” he teases her stroking her face.

“Yes way”she smiles.

“Ok fine.And you’re gonna wear a white big fluffy dress, right?”

“No you silly.Nice slim dress with the straps”she puched him softly.

“Sound good,easir to take off”he teased her again and eared a glare.

“Dream on.So how about our honeymoon?Where are we going on our honeymoon?”

“You’re not getting a honeymoon”he grinned.

“Hey hey…….don’t……don’t make me laugh”she choughed and closed her eyes. Nate tapped her on the nose and she smiled and opened her blue eyes again. She slightly shifted and found a comfortable position. She was lying on Nate’s chest and he had his one hand under her jacket.

“Ok……how bout Maui? You could wear that your little bikini you bough last week.

“CD laughed again and he laughed with her.Then she touched his face and stroked it. He leaned into her touch and she ran her hand through his hair. She looked deep into his eyes and drew his face closer.He gently kissed her and she closed her eyes.Nate gently shook her.

“Hey…..”

“Sorry”

“It’s ok baby,it’s ok”

He leaned again and kissed her on the lips.

“I love you” he whispered and stroked the hair out of her face, sweeping his fingertips across her pale skin.

“I love you too”she smiled and sighed.He pulled her tightly against him and cradled her gently.They stayed that way for a while and then Nate spoke up:

“You tired?”

“A little”she said, trying to keep her eyes open.

“Go to sleep”he said and ran a a hand through her hair.

“Be here when I wake up?”

“Yes”Nate assured her and CD closed her eyes.He kissed her lips and her eyelids and she fell asleep.Her fingers fell from his cheek and he held her tight, rocking her slowly.

Then I decided to join them. With Teddy behind my back, I walked as quietly as I could.I came to Nate and put a hand on his shoulder, but he didn’t even looked up. He just simply held CD and rocked her,tears running down his cheeks, dropping on her pale skin. I patted on his shoulder but he just buried his red eyes in her dirty hair. I heard his quiet sobs and tears started running down my cheeks. I couldn’t watch that anymore. It was bad enough to listen to them planning the rest of their lives together.

I wanted to tell him that there was nothing he could do, but I knew that those words would mean nothing to him, CD was still dead.It was an accident, none of us had thought it would be dangerous to stand on the edge of that rock.We were wrong…… CD slipped. We ran to her and Nate picked her up and started carrying her to the car, but it was over three miles away. Eventually CD’s begging voice convinced Nate to stop.She knew she wasn’t going to make it.So she wanted to die there, in a beautiful forest in Nate’s arms, and not on the run to the car.Nate argued with her for a little but when he looked inside her jacket, he paled and agreed.

I looked back and Nate was zipping her jacket and getting ready for a long walk. His face was pale and tears still fell. Nate removed his own jacket and wrapped CD in it, before carefully lifting her body into his arms, and he walked slowly past us back to the path.

I walked towards the car,watching as Nate carried CD’s limp wight.The orange sun was setting down, and the birds stopped singing, flowers were closing their petals and the air was getting chilly. A little beam highlighted CD’s hair and the blood that was dripping from her fingertips glinted.

The day was slowly coming to an end and though, I walked on the blood of my friend, and tears were still running down my cheeks, I couldn’t help but think it was a beautiful day.

wow, i thought it was very good. extremely sad, true, but it was SO sweet and heartwarming. nice job!!

Awwww, that was so sad!

It was so sweet and beautiful, too. It made me sad, but I liked it. See, now if they wanted to get rid of CD, they should have done it like this. At least then it would be bittersweet, instead of just plain bitter.

It made me sad, but I liked it. See, now if they wanted to get rid of CD, they should have done it like this. At least then it would be bittersweet, instead of just plain bitter.
