Default It's been great

My goal all along has been to encourage thought.

I hope I have done so.

I came back once more to help encourge it it after seeing a few posts, and because I dont' give up easily. I decided to post a few more polls and found that few tried to discuss the things I mentioned. I mean, Kimmy and why she's so odd sounds like an interesting topic. The Gumby incident proves there's stuff between the episodes.

About all you agreed on was that Danny was pretty inconsistent even after he started punishing Michelle, D.J. had to work hard, and was tougher than Danny. And, that Michelle really took after Jesse in the TV Universe. Hopefully I was able to help you understand she really took after D.J. in the Book Universe.

I hope, too, that I've encouraged you to think a little more in general. TV isn't just something to sit slack-jawed in front of and let the messages ooze into you. Our brains were granted to us so we could use them, and let entertainment be fun and interactive. Like books.

that's not the main reason i love the FH books most, I love them b/c they show a kinder, more polite, more compassionate Stephanie and (especially) Michelle, w/D.J. more mature and having been the mom-like figure fromt he start, proactive and not reactive. This is why Michelle doesn't take after Jesse, who is ont he 3rd floor from the start.

However, books are also great b/c they create more of a view of the characters, they help us to see that there's moer to life than little 22-minute snippets that take place over several days. The more involved the story,t he better.

That's what I hope you learn to get out of FH and other stuff. And next time you think about Michelle, consider D.J. working in the background so Michelle isn't even worse, which she easily could have been taking after Jesse so much w/little/no enforcement of rules. Remember the ages and appropriate behaviors, and give some grace and mercy. Be understand to a Danny who may be more depressed than we realize, may fear himself a failure, or maybe is just weak. Consider that a Joey might have a mental handicap.

In other words, think. REach. Explore the world of what you like, don't just sit there letting it sink in by osmosis.

Those of you who only later noticed Michelle's rudeness, you know what this means; teach the younger ones. Help them see tht with all TV there's a story, a reason for everything. And if the writers haven't given you one for the episodes, *make* one. Just as I asked you all to *make*up* some logical reasons to explain certain things.

After all, the creators of a story, if they're anything like me when iw rite, don't just write to entertain. they want to share their characters and ideas with you, so you can use your imagination for 8good*. Some poeple use it for evil and imagine wicked things happening, but the peple on here, I know, want to use theirs to promote wholesomeness, goodness, love, and so on.

You are a bunch of great fans, and I have truly enjoyed this time on this board. I hope you all have, too. So long and God Bless. Keep the polls and discussions going.
