Well I definitely think Rachel and Grandma should've came back, Steve and Laura get married and we finally see Urkel's parents. Myra would be asked to be married by Eddie, and maybe even show Judy's face.

I would defintely have liked to see Steve and Laura get married. It's a shame CBS just let it end without a true finale. I wouldn't have brought in another Harriette either. If she wanted to leave, I would kill her character or have her and Carl split up or something like that. I would have also had a retrospective of the show, especially all the times Laura turned Steve down(that would be during the wedding finale).

I agree but I will add that it should have ended on ABC and not CBS!

Or better yet, she would still be alive but only referred to (kind of like Steve Urkel's parents--did we ever see them?)

Very good idea. Remember Mama's Family when Eunice left the show and they would always refer to her, but never show her? Well they could have done that with Hariette and no one would have missed her. Remember when Morgan left Boy Meets World? I barely noticed her gone. Hariette wasn't really an important character anyway, so it's not like she would have been missed. It would have been cool though to have a big wedding with all the characters like Waldo returning. Thanks a lot CBS!

Yeah, that's something that bothered me and the Christmas episode. There wasn't even a mention of Judy. Steve gave Carl and Hariette a picture of Eddie and Laura, then Carl said that the only thing wrong with that picture was that Steve wasn't in it. How come he's more a member of the family then Judy?

Anyway, in the final episode, they should have had Steve and Laura get married. I would also have liked to see the real Hariette come back.

and to think the show was originally made for her to star in... I mean, it was a spinoff from Perfect Strangers, and Harriette was the character commom to both shows.

I know a lot of people may have a good idea of how the series "ended" but for those who don't I'll just say it was pretty much a season finale. Not a proper series finale. A Season finale with a very big cliffhanger that they REALLY should have resolved I think they either didn't know period the show was going to get canceled at that point or they weren't 100 percent sure if it was going to be renewed or cancelled. That's why that last episode is a a season finale and not a proper series finale. Even if CBS had no intention of renewing the series for a full final 10th year, they at least owed it to all the fans who stuck with the entire series to resolve that cliff hanger and give the series a proper finale. If that was how CBS was going to treat that show then I'd much rather it had ended on ABC. ABC would have given it the proper Series Finale it deserved.
