Default Archie was able to get under th skin of every single character EXCEPT.........

Lionel Jefferson. Lionel never let Archie get to him like the others. Archie was able to upset

Maude
Edith
Gloria
Mike
Louise
Frank
Irene
George
Henry
Mother Jefferson


But not the COOL Lionel. Which is why Lionel and Archie were the funniest charcters on the show. Mike and George Jefferson follow.

That's not entirely correct. Lionel got very annoyed with Archie when he was confronted about dancing with Archie's niece.

Lionel was not upset in that scene. He just let Archie know that he had gotten a kick of of him when he first moved in the neighborhood and said that he wasn't getting that same type of kick. And said CALMLY they could continue being friends but he has to chill with the racism.

He wasn't upset; he was just annoyed. Archie got under his skin a little bit.
