Post Blair's Smokin

I know in the first season they had Blair smoking...like in the pilot episode and in Rough Housing Mrs. G brough it up...did they ever have an eps. where Blair decided to stop smoking, or is that just another one of those FOL things that diminsied? Also, in Rough housing Mrs. G tells Mr Drummond that the house mother is only temporarily until they find a decent house mother, do they have an ep. where Mrs. G decides to stay, or is this another unsolved mystterY?

Teddy Is Hott!! --pretty plain and simple. I cannot tell a lie--Teddy is ALL mine!!

Blair: Hold it, you ruined my watch.
Jo: No I didn't, it's a stop watch...it stopped

Blair: Jo, you've got some power, but you're not wearing it right. You don't want to
throw it onlike a motorcycle jacket, you want to slip it on, like a negligee.
Jo: I'm not doin' anything weird!!!

Natalie: She's always saying what a great kid you are.
Andy: Kid?
Natalie: Guy. Did i say kid? Why would i say kid? Man. She said man!

What's really funny is in the episode, "3,2,1" where Blair and Jo do the newscast, Blair throws in a little comment at the end of the newscast like, "Good day, don't smoke,...", or something like that. It was funny how in one season she smokes and in another she's anti-smoking!

I guess it was something like-
"If the Facts Of Life was all about you, How come you weren't ever on the show?"

I never knew Blair smoked on the show! I watched Rough Housing today and I didn't noticed anything about Blair smoking. Are you sure they had her smoke in first season? I am a HUGE FOL fan & I never noticed that. Actually I never liked first season it was boring! I liked when Jo came in and took over!

She smoked in the pilot episode which was called The Girls School and aired as an episode of Diff'rent Strokes. In Rough Housing Mrs. Garrett states: "you smoke and you talk a big game". So Blair doesnt smoke in Rough Housing, it is just mentioned that she does smoke.

Ok, lemme clear this up... in the Pilot Episode Blair was supposed to be a rough girl (kinda like Jo) and she was supposed to be a bitch and does everything wrong... during a rehearsal after she recieved the part of Blair... she read a line sarcastically and they rewrote it so that blair was a snob and not a bitch... but the whole Blair smoking in the pilot episode was becuase that was when she was supposed to be the bitchy "Jo" girl in that episode.

And about the mrs. g sayign you Smoke and you tlak a good game is meaning that she doesn't smoke cigarretts or pot or crack or dust or anything.. it's saying that she smokes like smoke comes off of a fire... she makes men light up on fire over her is what it basically says... i coulda swore i explained it before and probably did.. but it was SOOO long ago!

Toodles

The part about her smoking and talking a good game is up for interpretation. If you had never seen the pilot episode which aired as a DS episode, I could see how you could say that she never smoked.. but if you saw the DS episode, you would clearly know that she smoked and when Mrs. G said that she smoked - she really meant she smoked cigarettes...
