Monday, March 1 at 8/7c The Mystery of Natalie Wood Starring Justine Waddell, Michael Weatherly, Matthew Settle, Colin Friels, Elizabeth Rice, Grace Fulton, Robert Taylor and Alice Krige. The Mystery of Natalie Wood takes an in-depth look at the life of one of Hollywood's brightest stars whose light was extinguished much too soon. Acclaimed director Peter Bogdanovich helmed the three-hour dramatization, and newcomer Justine Waddell stars as Natalie Wood. From her start in the business at a very young age with a domineering mother, her leap from being a popular childhood star to a mature actress, her roller-coaster love life, her marriage to Robert Wagner and her life-long fear of water, Natalie Wood was always destined to become a legend. But at what price this fame? Real-life friends, family and acquaintances from Natalie's past, including actors Margaret O'Brien and Robert Vaughn and director Henry Jaglom, were interviewed about their experiences with the actress, and appear throughout the film. The film is executive-produced by Suzanne Finstad, Robert M. Sertner, Frank von Zerneck and Gerald W. Abrams. Richard Fischoff and Randy Sutter are the producers. The teleplay is by Elizabeth Egloff. Lana Wood, Natalie's sister, was a co-producer, along with Ted Babcock, Peter Sadowski and Michael Goldstein. |

Wow! Justine Waddell is the spittin' image of Natalie. She looks just like Natalie's oldest daughter, Natasha Gregson, too.

I've read a few books on her, very interesting lady.
I have my own theory on her death if anyone's interested. Robert Wagner and Christopher Walken were both awake on that boat when she fell, but they were drinking. There was another boat in the area that said they heard a woman scream, but there were men who answered it. I believe Wagner and Walken did notice when she fell, but were too intoxicated to realize what it meant. This would explain why they've both always been so quiet about that night. Anyways, regardless, she was an amazing actress. Even as a little girl in The Ghost and Mrs. Muir and Miracle on 34th Street up through West Side Story... she's still greatly missed. |

I also love Natalie Wood and saw the previews and they look good. I ready the book "Natasha" by Suzanne Finstad and it has some shocking segments.
I named my oldest daughter after Natalie Wood. |

BTW, I wonder what Robert Wagner would think about this film since he had no say on the filming and it would enrage him I can picture that!!
