Oh, and also, I can sign on my AOL sn from AIM, if I delete my AOL sn, can I still sign on it from AIM, or is it gone forever?

As a former AOL employee (shudder), I can tell you that when you delete a screen name, it's pretty much gone forever; you won't even be able to use it on AIM anymore.

You must create the new screename first and then you can send everything to it. You should be able to create more than one sn. hope that helps!

Exactly. If there are already seven screen names on an account, she's S.O.L. unless she has the means to create a new account.

If u want to keep your buddys on ur list you should write everything down on a pieace of paper or type it all out and print it out that is what i did when i lost my buddys a few weeks ago.
i dont think you can save them to ur filing cabinet not sure about that one!!!!!

that's not completely true. When you delete a name it stays for a few months and you can bring it back but you can still use it on AIM

I am thinking about switching from MSN/Hotmail to another internet server like AOL because I belong to a dozen message boards and some of the boards that I have been on won't take MSN/Hotmail because the boards say they can't accept free service and/or due to the SPAM epidemic!!

That used to be the case, but they changed it about a year and a half ago.
