I've been there. There was this person that I just...couldnt get enough of. And this was in school. And this person, we just connected...I dunno. We got really close. I dont even know what they saw in me. But we got really close. I just...loved this person so much. Still do. I shouldnt have loved them though. I guess...it was wrong. And even if they loved me back it would still be wrong cuz...well yeah. And the last day of school, I saw this person and we said goodbye. And on the way home in the car I just started crying. And "Hanging By A Moment" by Lifehouse was on the radio while I was crying. So ever since then...when I hear that song I think of that person. It helps to have a song to match that feeling. I mean, when you love someone I dont think it ever goes away. So...yeah. That probably didnt help. But yeah...that was my experience.

I just thought of something else....and this probably really wont help...this person...came back into my life a year and a half ago...and thats when I realised that love never goes away. And as time went on I realised that this person loves me back...but if they showed it, it would be wrong. So now...this person has become distant....but whenever we get together...theres still that thing there that connected us in the first place.

So...love never really goes away. You'll probably never get rid of that feeling...I know this isnt helping but I do know where you're coming from. I just cant find the words to express how I feel about my experience....

I do not belive she was asking for your approval, but advice.

I'd say you are in a real tough spot. Chances are, not to mean any offence against you, but with the way soceity is, you might freak her out if you tell her. Letting go of feelings is NOT easy to do. If it doesn't feel right, don't tell her. But if you get the feeling go for it.

Tell her. She might be bi herself. And if she doesn't understand your problem then you don't need her as a friend/crush.

If she is straight forget it! Find someone who will connect with you! I know unrequited love is hard to take but there are other fish in the sea!
Being only attracted to men myself I guess I can see where it might be a difficult situation for someone who is not gay. All I can advise you is not too push it. It will only bring embarassment and hurt to both of you!
I still remember being obsessed by a certain boy back in high school who didn't know I was alive! It is such a horrible feeling!
But believe me you will get over it! Really! I eventually found someone (my husband) to spend my life with!
I hope only the best for you Mads! Good luck!

I think you should tell her, but if she doesn't feel the same way as you she might think of you... different. But I'd still get it out, you don't want to pass up the chance to tell her and regret it.

Yeah...I've been there. I used to follow my crush home too.

As dumb and cliche as this sounds...I just got over him in time. I went to a diff college and had enough to think about there. I eventually did transfer to the same school he went to, but he must have transferred or quit cuz I never saw him again after sophomore year. Time heals all wounds so to speak. And maybe you'll meet another girl.

This is a little bit too close to home. 8th grade I started liking this kid David. That was back in 1998. Here I am almost 20 years old in 2004 and have been out of school for 2 years. Do I still like him? Yes. I think about him about 5-6 times a week if not more. I cant help it. I dont obsess over him like I used to, but I think about it.. what hes doing and such. We talked all the time in 8th grade in class and stuff, and then 9th grade meangya like 3 times if that. After 9th grade I never had another class with him, nor spoke another word to him. My friends thought I was crazy in HS for still liking him, and hell Amanda thinks Im f'd up for still liking him. But deep down inside I feel as though I loved him- or still do. I dunno.. he's changed the way Ive felt forever. Meh.. Mads if you want the whole story read my LJ because I went on a whole story yesterday.. we went through the whole thing. Its tough.

It is not what is on the outside but on the inside that counts and it is not what a person looks like but it is who they are and if that person loves that person for who the kind of person that he/she is. Caring, loving, sensitive, puts people's feelings and cares above and beyond themselves. Better to give than to receive!!
