Arrow umm...

Is it bad to say that if they would have just cut out the middle 40 minutes or so I would be totally happy with the first and last five minutes of the show? Cause I would be.

I blinked and almost missed Magda. That was absurd. Stick her in there a bit more if ya can.

Jinny...so now she is also a recovering drug addict? I just thought she was an alocoholic, when did the drugs come into play?

I thought Nate's dad no longer kept in touch with he or Irene. I thought the guy was a genuine jerk who ignored them both. In the opening though when Nate was talking about his dad I could just picutre him saying that to C.D. last season. That was a good ep--she was actually in it. I wish she'd come back.

Do yall really think Kate deserves that child more than the own mother? That kinda bothered me. Sounds to me as if she were on the selfish side.

Oh, and its finally happened...I now watch Alias and tape TD to watch it an hour later. Alias puts TD to shame. Is that a bad thing to say?

How quickly we forget.... Jinny started taking prescription meds just before Jack left. Remember, when she almost killed herself? Anyway, I think that Kate should keep the baby. At least for a while. The mother deserves the baby, but considering the fact that she will not be able to spend any time with it, Kate's the next best choice. And, I thought that Kate handled the situation very well. She gave Jill the green light, so to speak to take the baby, without any interference from her. But the whole Mag thing.... why was she even there. What for a couple of seconds, a line or two. They really should include her a little more. I mean, after all, her husband just wanted a divorce and left the country. She should be having a breakdown or something.

The episodes that dealt with Jinny in sason 3 when she was drinking and doing drugs were to me some of the best. Baby It's Cold Outside, the episode she went cold turkey was one of my favorites. Anyways back to this epsisode... Jiiny and Hank seemed to have a great time painting hey were laughing and smiling and then at the end she was talking about the ocean i said to myself 'way to ruin a great moment' I noticed that Hank had a beer in his hand at the beginning which made me think that she was going to come clean. I'm glas she did. If he stays which I'm sure he will, will mean he's staying because he loves Jinny has a whole.

The situation with the baby was very interesting.I sort of thought that Kate was being selfish. But I think Jil should leave Kati Ann with Kate because Jill wouldn't be a good mother if she's going throgh law school most of the day and then she would have to get a job to pay for everything.

The way that the show is going this season is depressing me. I don't like it.

1. Nate is lonely. He's not ever happy and he's with Raina. I want CD back...I almost want a replacement for Tracey instead of him being so jerky all the time. I liked the Irene storyline this week. Good thing they confirmed that she's still alive.

2. Raina is with Nate...she shouldn't be. She's completely changed since 2nd season, which could be because she's Inspector now, but I dont know. I liked her better before, she's really subdued now.

3. Stacy...why did we get her, again? Not really seeing a point to her being on the show.

4. Captain's story was ok, but why did they make her out to be the bad guy? And why the hell has she not kicked Louis to the curb? I thought she was a smart woman. Obviously not! He's a control freak.

5. Magda is nowhere to be found, except for when she and Gabe fought during the last couple eps. Now, she got a camera shot...a line, maybe. Next week, will she even be in it??

6. Jinny...here's the one I've been waiting to cover. She and Hank are cute together. I really like this relationship, but does she work now? Are Nate and Raina the only Inspectors left in the SFPD? And Jinny's just done with drugs completely. They never really brought it back up after "Baby, It's Cold..." and that bothers me. Making her pregnant...this better be good, and they better not make the announcement and forget about it.

OK...I'm done with my rant about this season, so far. This week, I had church til 8, so I didn't get home til about 8:20, and havent even watched my tape yet. Last season, I would have been watching it at 9:01. *sigh*

I know exactly what you mean, about everything. And about #1, I've kind of had the same thoughts. I don't think anyone could come close to Tracey, but at this point, the show couldn't get any worse. Something has to be done. Nate isn't even Nate anymore. I keep kidding around with my sisters that I'm going to fly to TD studio, bind and gag DJL, put on a blonde wig and blue contacts, and show those people how to run a show! J/j, folks. But still, the thought has crossed my mind.

*blink* You and I...we spent so much time being Couch Partners, we THINK alike...my topic the one about good to know Magda's alive says the EXACT same thing...I feel the same about EVERYTHING you just said...except I TAPED Alias so I could watch it over and over again b/c I'm sorry folks it DOES put The Division to shame...

It's happened, my friend let me borrow her DVD's and I'm so hooked...ahh...and how is Alias fake? I KNOW people in the CIA, and I KNOW that a lot of what's going on in that show isn't fake, EXAGGERATED? of COURSE it needsta make money, but I wouldn't call it FAKE.

Of course, part of the reaosn Alias is putting TD to shame is they can afford all the fancy stuff Lifetime can't...but Couch Partner...we think so much alike...

Alias, is not fantasy, fantasy is Harry Potter, Alias is EXAGGERATED yes, I'll give you that, but until I see a unicorn on that show I refuse to believe it's fantasy...and ya know...The Division could be argued not to be "real" either...I mean...can you say "troubled lives"? It's like NOBODY is EVER happy on that show...EVER. I simply DESCRIBED the characters to my friend, and she's like, "Damn, talk about on the verge of a soap opera, and you won't even watch Passions with me..." of course I argued it wasn't NEARLY as bad as Passions, and these people can act, but I mean, as much as I love the show...the CD leaving the a note thing...ehhh...sounds kinda soap-opera-y to me. That's what put me over the edge. No, it's most definitely not a soap opera, but still...I dunno, JMO, I really hope that this season goes well, and SOMETHING great happens...yea...I've loved the episodes...but eh...they're not as good as they usedta be and this past week, I didn't like it at all...that was the first time I HAVEN'T liked an episode. Last year, if I heard that The Division wasn't going to be renewed, I would have been so mad, completely bummed, but they're going downhill...MAJORLY...*shrugs* if The Division isn't renewed for a 5th season, I dunno, I'll prolly be disappointed, but I won't have that much to be wishing for b/c slowly their killing the show...I hate to say it, I REALLY do but CD leaving...Stacy...and her lack of purpose, it's slowly killing the show. I won't feel like I'm missing out on that much.

All I can say is good thing I know of another show that comes on at 9 on Sunday nights, b/c TD isn't looking too good...

Well, that was a nice long rant, and I don't know if half of it made sense. I just, after this past episode *shrugs* I really wasn't impressed

Couch partner, I read your post after making my own and realized that the whole "time on the couch routine" is obviously warping our brains to think very much alike, because I totally agree with ya that ALIAS rocks! Been watching it since day one and it just gets better.

As for Jin on the drugs...I remember the pill and everything, I guess it just didn't register in my mind to count it as a long problem since it last not near as long as her alcoholism. I might not be as obsessed about TD, but I could never forget the Cold Turker episode. It made me mad that they left it there. So many possibilities LIFETIME could be exploring now...
