I had Adobe Acrobat Reader 6.0 on my comp and I could read online pdf files just fine. Couple days ago it lets me update to 6.0.1. Fine, but then the damn thing wouldn't work. I uninstall it and download it from scratch. Still won't open online pdf files. What's wrong with it?

sounds like it is the Internet Explorer plugin that is corrupted, uninstall the program, then run "Disk Cleanup" and delete the cache and "Downloaded Program files" and reinstall it
you may have something corrupted in the Windows registry as well, you may need to clean out the Adobe section, but i wouldn't advise messing with it unless you are comfortable doing so. |

I've never had any problems with that programme myself but I don't really like it. I don't get why people on the 'net use it on their websites for hosting their fanfic on. I'd rather read fanfic on their page any day than having to go through opening up Adobe Acrobat. It takes FOREVER to load.
