Default Knicks trade Keith Van Horn to the Bucks in 3-way deal involving the Hawks

The Knicks have traded Keith Van Horn to Milwaukee in a three team deal that also involved Atlanta. The Bucks get Van Horn, the Hawks get Michael Zodiac and player from Atlanta, the Knicks get a player from the Bucks and the Hawks.

I don't much about the other players envolved, I just hope they have low post presence. And I wish the NBA did not have this ridculous 45 day rule, in which you can not trade a player you just acquired in a trade for 45 days, then the Knicks could have gotten Wallace. If I was the Knicks I would have put this trade on hold and done in July, with Rashaed Wallace involved in a sign and trade.

But after this trade, I like the Knicks chances of getting Wallace this off season, because Ishah has showed me he has the George Stienbringer maintality of getting the players he wants.

This can't be good for Van Horn's confidence. This will be his 4th team in 3 years. Hard to play with confidence when that happens.

The Knicks are going to be very tough in the playoffs (if they make them). Other the the Pacers, I don't know if there's a team in the East that is that much better then them.

Stupid trade by the Knicks. Tim Thomas is not having that good of a season. I thought Van Horn has played very well this season. He's scored 30+ a few times, Tim Thomas hasn't at all. And why Nazr Mohammed? I guess he's better than Doleac at back-up center.

I don't consider the Knicks going anywhere in the east. They haven't beaten any elite teams except Indiana in the Marbury era. They lost to Houston twice, San Antonio, Dallas, New Orleans and they have beat up on bad teams like Miami (they lost to them once too), and Atlanta. We'll see how they do against Detroit on Tuesday and the upcoming west coast trip against teams like the Kings.

The Nets are the team to beat clearly. Indiana is the only one that can match up against them. Nets can beat Detroit and New Orleans.

NY hype..........a below .500 team destined for great things.

According to a couple of NBA GM's, Isiah Thomas is burying the Knicks regarding the salary cap.

People feel Tim Thomas is more athletic than Keith Van Horn, that he would fit more with the fast, push-it-up offense now that they have Starbury.

I wouldn't call it NY hype, there's not exactly that many teams above .500 in the east anyway. At the start of the season, we'd just got rid of Sprewell for Van Horn and Don Cheney never coached the team to a .500 record. With the additions of Starbury, Penny, Wilkens, Tim Thomas, etc. why wouldn't fans have reason to look at the season more positively than two months ago?

I hope Thomas does well, but while he has had flashes of great play he tends to underachieve and not take it inside. Maybe he will do better with Marbury.

Tim Thomas has no jump shot. Knicks will miss that from Van horn.

I forgot to mention McDyess was still on the injured list at the start of the season. So coming into the season, I wasn't optimistic at all about the Knicks doing anything, but with all the moves, there's reason to have hope. As far as salary cap, Knicks weren't going to go under the cap even without Isiah Thomas' trades.

They still have Starbury, Houston, and Shandon Anderson if they want jump shooters.

TVJE u can't spell for s**t LOL. U called Michael Doleac Zodiac hahahahahahahahahahaha. U spelled George Steinbrenner's last name wrong & u spelled Isiah's name wrong. Learn how to spell. Anyway i would really like to know why does Keith Van Horn keep getting traded so much. Something is wrong. I think he's a good player but people keep questioning his heart. Stephon Marbury said that Keith doesn't play with any heart & he's soft when i don't think that's the case. Tim Thomas does have a jumpshot but it's not as good as Keith's. I hope Keith can finally find a home with Milwaukee cause if he gets traded one more damn time, i'm gonna holla LOL.

There is no such 45 day rule, I don't know where you got that from. The Hawks can still trade 'sheed this season before the trade deadline.
