Thumbs up Becker and Telemarketers

I don't know the name of the episode, but just before tthe Do-not-call-list became law, I remember the episode where Becker Blasts an air-horn into the telephone when a telemarketer called.

That was really funny!!! Especially after all the years of putting up with these pests.(Not all telemarketers are bad, just the ones that call you even though they have never done business with you, and keep calling and calling, and won't take no for an answer!)

What Becker did was something I would have loved to have done.

That is one of my favorite episodes.

And Becker was the best with Reggie, Bob, Jake Margaret and Linda. The show seemed to decline after change in cast. Becker was less funny, because he was less grouchy.

But, Becker is one of those shows I could watch re-runs for years and years!!!!

I agree that he was less funny/grouchy whenever Reggie left, but I think it's because he fell in love with Chris(Nancy Travis). That's just my opinion though.

Oh, wow, I don't think I've seen that episode with the telemarketers before. I know I've seen most of them. Can you tell me what the name of the episode is? Maybe it'll ring a bell.

Default becker and telemarketers

I cannot find the episode, not sure if they will show it again, but I saw it last Sept. or Oct.

Seems like Becker picked up the phone, and he said something like "Do I want to buy Insurance?" then he blasts the airhorn into the phone, and hangs up. If it comes on again, I'll try to post the title here. I watch Becker on WB 11 St.Louis.

I just found out the episode!! It was on today!! (St.Louis WB11)

It is "Take these pills and shove 'em"

I was mistaken who called him. It wasn't an insurance company, it was a long distance company.

He blasted the airhorn into the phone when he got the call. Right at the end of the program!!!
