Default Twilight Zone Trivia Question

Name at least one real life married couple that appeared in the same episode? I can only think of one instance where this happened.

Hey Bevis, heres a clue for you. The female half of this couple was all over tv for many years doing commercials for a cool product.

I'll think about this. Right now, nothing comes to mind. Awful, isn't it?

Wait, Mariette Hartley was in a lot of commercials for Maxwell House or something, wasn't she? Was she married to anyone in "The Long Morrow"? Robert Lansing?

I'm going to take a wild guess and say Gig Young and Elizabeth Montgomery.

They were married to each other but they didn't appear in the same episode. Heres another clue, The male half first appeared on one of the more popular 1st season episodes. The episode co-starring his wife also features an actor that went on to greater fame in movies especially during the 70's.

Sounds like the male half is Jack Weston ("The Monsters Are Due On Maple Street," season 1; "The Bard," season 4, also with Burt Reynolds), but I forget who he was married to. I seem to remember that he was married to somebody famous. I could look it up, but I won't.

Default We Have A Winner:)

Bevis is right, The male half is Jack Weston & his wife was Marge Redmond who played the secretary in The Bard. She was the one that told him to go cross the street against a red light. Marge, was seen for many years on tv pitching Cool Whip.

A "Cool" product indeed!

Thanks for the question and the clues, RR. I didn't know this.
