Default Pro Athletes married to famous women

What is up with Professional athletes married to famous successful women. Most of these athletes are average in their sports. Why don't they just retire and live off of their wives?

Most famous is Rick Fox and Vanessa Williams. Why doesn't he retire and leave off of his wife. She is rich. He can just do those Radio Shack adds.

But I could understand that, Rick is a basketball player, he makes a lot of guarenteed money in a sport that is not that dangerous.

Football is another story, you make less money than basketball, none of it guarenteed, and it is more dangerous.

Look at Rodney Pete and Jason Shehorn. Rodney is married to actress Holly Robinson, and Jason is married to actress Angie Harmon. Both of those guy are not that great at their sport to begin with, (if your Tom Brady that is a different story) especally Shehorn, as a Giant fan I know he hasn't been the same player since his knee injury in 1998. He missed the tackle on the Panther receiver that scored the game winning touchdown in the NFC Divisonal Playoff game. Hey I wonder if Holly and Angie sat in the same box during that game.

Guys just retire and let your wife do her work.

I can't stand Rick Fox, he's a b***h LOL. He got a perm & he's always getting into fights with somebody. I don't see why Vanessa Williams married him anyway. You're right about Rodney Peete. He does suck. He's been with a lot of NFL teams. It's time for him to retire cause Carolina never plays him. There's this black guy who used to play in the NFL, i can't remember his name but he's married to black actress Gabrielle Union & he's living off of her cause he hasn't played football in a long time.

I wouldn't say these guys suck. They are mediocor or average. Shehorn not only cost the Rams this year, but he sucked in the Ginat/49er game. so back to back year he cost his team a playoff game.

I agree Rodney Pete should retire. His wife probably made more money just for bid parts in the Babyface video "Wipe Apeal" and in the tv movie about the Jackson family (playing Diana Ross), (which Venessa Williams was also in) than Rodney made in 5 NFL seasons.

Default sports couples

Nomar & Mia Hamm
Andre Agassi and Steffi Graff

Don't most successful men want successful women? Just an innocent ?, so don't get bent out of shape here.

Yeah but Nomar and Andre are married to fellow athletes. That is different from what we are discussing, and they are as successful if not more successful than their wives. Though Aggasi is getting old.

I am talking about the athlete married to the women who is more successful than he his.

Don't compair Rick Fox to Nomar Garciapara.
