“Daddy’s Girl” -- On the advice of the family therapist (Peter Bogdanovich, acclaimed director of ABC's “The Mystery of Natalie Wood,” “Paper Moon,” “The Last Picture Show” and John Ritter's Friend), Cate is encouraged to pursue a once-thought-unobtainable dream of becoming a singer. Meanwhile, C.J. and Jim find themselves trying to bond in a bar when Cate encourages C.J. to take his grandfather out after he is dumped by his wife – in a letter -- and Bridget angers Kerry by dyeing her hair blonde after she complains that the romance is fading from her relationship with Kyle. In the episode, Katey Sagal sings “Daddy’s Girl,” and Connie Stevens guest stars as a barmaid, on “ 8 Simple Rules, ”TUESDAY, MARCH 2 (8:00-8:30 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.

“8 Simple Rules” stars Katey Sagal as Cate Hennessy, Kaley Cuoco as Bridget Hennessy, Amy Davidson as Kerry Hennessy, Martin Spanjers as Rory Hennessy, with James Garner as Jim and David Spade as C.J.

Guest starring are Peter Bogdanovich as Dr. Lohr, Billy Aaron Brown as Kyle, Connie Stevens as Tina, Kathryn J. Larsen as Amanda and Marcus York as construction guy.

“Daddy’s Girl” was written by Tracy Gamble & Dave Flebotte and directed by James Widdoes.

”8 Simple Rules” is broadcast in 720 Progressive (720P), ABC's selected HDTV format, with 5.1- channel surround sound.

A TV parental guideline will be assigned closer to airdate.

It's nice that Peter Bogdanovich will make a guest appearence, he was one of Ritter's closest friends. I thought that 'Noises Off' which they did together, was hilarious, and one of Ritter's funniest movies. I would have loved to see Henry Winkler make a guest spot, he's among my favorite actors, but unfortunatly that wasn't to be. Oh well.
