Default Hair

Was Jodie's hair naturally curly when she was younger and then it turned straight, or did she just start straightening it?

I don't know for a fact...but considering how curly it was, I don't think it would suddenly go from that curly to straight. I would say it was naturally straight and they curled it.

I thought about posting this as well a while back but kept forgetting. Thanks for posting it!

I always wondered about this too. You can see in season one, her hair had soft, natural-looking curls. Starting with season two through three, those curls look kinda fluffy/fuzzy. I don't know if I'm explaining it correctly. At the end of season three, the top half of her head is straight with the bottom curled. The first few episodes of season four has slight waves at the bottom of her hair. From then on, it's totally straight.

But then, there was a four-year-old picture of Jodie on the family piano where she's wearing a red blouse. It looks like a portrait studio photo, and her hair was curly. Some children start out with curly hair and then it gets naturally straightened as they grow older. Take a look at the Olsen twins. When they were babies, their hair was also curly.

Who knows...

Your welcome!

I saw a picture of Jodie when she was like four or five and she had straight hair. (It was a candid shot) It is the same with Mackenzie Rosman from 7th Heaven, her hair was really curly and then in one episode it was straight and stayed that way ever since.

One of the great mysteries of life.

That's right... I had nearly forgotten about Mackenzie! She's another perfect example!
