Who hates Michelle and who says she was ugly in season 1? She's a baby, so what if she's ugly. I was ugly when I was a baby.

We don't so much hate Michelle, but we just think she was rude. The character had much more potential than they made her out to be. Like on the episode where it is Michelle's 5th birthday and they are doing the flashback thing, after Jesse and Joey explained how they changed her first diaper she says "You guys were dumb." That is so rude!

I don't hate her character, and I definatly don't think that she was an ugly baby.

Yeah, we just think an episode like this was probably appr5opriate. http://www.fanfiction.net/read.php?storyid=1728702 (D.J. washes her mouth out with soap - would have been interesting in w/the dance episode, which I have this take place during)

I guess HATE is really too strong of a word, but I really thought Michelle was obnoxious.

The way she rolled her eyes, made faces and replied "DUH" with that snotty little look on her face was pretty annoying and it got old. What drove me nuts the most was that she was constantly rude and the rest of the family always thought it was cute! Augh!

Tropical Punch 19 brought up a good example of Michelle's rudeness. In the birthday episode when she turns 5, after they do a flashback to when Joey and Jesse were trying to figure out how to change her diaper, Michelle turns to them and says "You guys are dumb!" Her facial expression was even worse than the comment.

Probably the reason so many people dislike Michelle is the fact that she got away with being a brat so often when a regualr normal kid would have been punished.

Of course, the last couple of seasons when the entire show revolved around her didn't help either.

Yes, it's why I so prefer the Book Universe, but also why I like to consider the background work D.J. did. Why not, as taht story says, figure that D.J. did correct it a lot, washed her mouth out once, etc. It did go away, and there had to be a reason.

It gives a sense of justice that helps you not feel so frustrated.

Which, BTW, means it surprises me there aren't more votes for my poll on how D.J. made it go away. It did, eventually, and I'm sure more people want to think outside the box - the TV, that is.Be creative. "You got a bad attitude" had to come from D.J., for one thing, it sure doesn't sound like anything she'd hear from the guys.
