As mentioned in "Smash Club: The Next Generation," when Becky explains what depressed means.

I want tot hank you all who try to understand my polls and comments. Some of you do vote, and I'm very thankful.
However, unlike some boards, I find that some of you, as D.J. explained about Kimmy in the 3rd episode, "don't like to think." So, I'm bumping this poll up, as yu have 4 simple, easy choices in a poll question that *proves* my point about there being more to the story than 192 30-minute (really 22 minute) segments. For you see, Michelle asks what depressed me, and Becky comes right out and says "depressed is the feeling you got when you learned Gumby wasn't microwave safe." I mean, no episode shows a child putting a Gumby int he microwave, so obviously there is history between the lines/episodes. This question forces you to think, as do all of mine, but that's what we should all be doing anyway. We love this show, it's great entertainment but the reason we love it is because it's about loving, compassionate people who are either like us or like we wish we could be int heir unconditional love. The choices are simple: 1. A friend of hers nuked his/her Gumby; 2. It happened when the only one enforcing limits would have to have been D.J.; 3. It happened around a point int ime when Danny is tougher than usual, and provides a means of explaining that; or, 4. It happened sometime in between when Danny started punsihing her and the episode where Becky says this, and the punishment for it shows how effective taking her dessert away was. How much more simple does it have to be? If nobody wants to vote, then discuss. If nobody wants to discuss, well, I don't know what to say to that one. It's hard to fathom that people could love a show so much, and not want to cleverly discuss the many facets of the characters and also the history and other things that happened. |

I can't believe there aren't more votes. When "Smash Club: The Next Generation is on, listen, and when michelle says that, remember what the first thing that came to your mind was. Maybe that'll help. I hadn't noticed that before in the ep.
