I watched MJF on Late Night last night. It was really good. Michael was funny as always. Conan brought up something about his Canadian accent and about his losing it in the US. It was funny because Michael mentioned how he used to say the word "sorry" when he first came here. I had often noticed that he said the word funny on Family Ties, so his Canadian accent is why!!
He was also very good on Scrubs last Tuesday night and will appear again next Tuesday night.

I didn't know it was on last night I missed it. What did MJF talk about? Was it about his appearance on Scrubs? I also noticed how he said sorry and wondered why he said it like that.

Thanks for reminding me... More to tell...
Yes! He did discuss his role on "Scrubs" (which by the way was very good. I don't usually watch "Scrubs" but I did for him.) It will be on again next week with him on it. But Conan asked him if he had any obsessions of his own and he revealed that he has a minor obsession with finger nails. Everytime he sees a finger nail commercial on tv (i.e for nail fungus treatment) or anything like that, he has to feel each one of his nails or something like that. He even said how his kids make fun of him and always call him when a commercial that causes him to do that comes on. Really wierd, but also really cool as always because it is Michael we are talking about here!!! ![]() I had also noticed how he said the word "borrow" in a similar manner. |

I also noticed that in the episode, Don't Kiss Me I'm Only The Messanger, he has an accent on the word "yesterday".
Alex: "You know Skippy Handleman, the good looking fellow who was here yesterday." When he said the word yesterday, it made him sound as though he was from New York. |

Funny that some people think Michael has an accent. Unless a person is from down south or from New York or some place in the states that is obvious to where they're from, or in Canada if a person is from the maritime provinces like New Brunswick or PEI or Nova Scotia or french speaking in Quebec, I can't place any other kind of accent in any other part of Canada that seems different from the states.
