question about sex

alright, I understand that this is a personal subject and some people feel more comfortable answering and talking about it then others, and so if you dont feel comfortable with this thread, you dont have to reply, and in no way am I trying offend anyone because I relieze that this is such a sensitive topic, but anyways, I have been thinking about sex lately (thats normal I guess, I am 17 after all) and recently I have been thinking a LOT about sex, and it doesnt help that mondays everwood was pracitically all about sex...

I was wondering when is too soon to have sex?...like I know thats a personal thing and it depends on the person, but do a lot of people have sex when they are in high school..cuz only a couple of my close friends have had sex, but there are a bunch of other kids in my grade who have...also are people goin to wait till marriage?

Umm.. just because a bunch of kids in school do it, doesnt mean everyone is doing it. Half of them are probably doing it because everyone else is. I think that youll know when youre truly ready... like you can just tell. So, Id give it some time to think of all the consequences and really think if its the best idea. I mean, I dont wanna sound all preachy and stuff, but accidents do happen and in the long run would it be worth it?

Whenever you're ready, just wait for the right person. I had sex when I was 15, and it wasn't with the right person. I haven't even been with anyone since and I don't really care about ever having anyone.

Sorry, whenever anyone asks about sex I always mention me having sex at 15.

I personally believe that you should wait till marriage for sex, but my opinion on that may change as I get older. I am almost 16, and I know that I, personally, am not ready, but someone else my age might be.

I'm 18 and I don't know if I'm ready for sex yet but it wouldn't matter anyway because I don't even have a boyfriend. I have a feeling though that the first real boyfriend I get will be the one I have sex with because I'm really picky when it comes to who I will date and I think by the time I fall in love with someone who is also in love with me, I will be ready. I don't think I will wait until marriage to have sex although I do think it would be nice to only be with one person in my life, the guy I end up marrying. Maybe that's just a silly dream but I can still hold on to it for now.

I'd say around 20. I'm only 15, but know that people around 20 are better of doing it then.I'd rather have a mom who had me at 20 than a mom who had me at 50.

I'm 18 and I've never had sex...I'm glad I didn't in HS. I HAVE had boyfriends before, but I was in junior high and stuff...Yeah, you know.

When you've matured a lot to understand the consequences of having sex, then you'll be ready...It also has to depend on if you FEEL ready, too. I know for certain I'm not ready to have sex yet...that and I don't have a significant other.

Please take this as wise advice! The worry about pregnancy is not worth it! I have been there. (Many years ago) The guy I was going with at the time was not worth the anguish! Please think! The second guy I had sex with was the man that I have been married to for the past 35 years! I really should have waited until marriage but it worked out really well for me the second time around!(He was several years older than I) . We married. And I am so glad that we did! Now that I am a mature, rational thinking adult I say don't be in a big hurry to throw your life away on some immature boy! It's not worth the anguish!

A few of my friends have done it numerous times, and they just think about it as no big deal. They just sleep around, bragging about who they've done and who they haven't. Talk about being sluts. Anyway.

I myself have not had sex yet, I'm waiting until the right person that I love and trust. I'm not going to screw around and get knocked up at 15 years old.

Hmm, weird. My friend was asking me about this today. She was like planning it all out. She was like "And I have condoms, spermicide and I'm on the pill. I'm all prepared!" And then she started having second thoughts. I just told her to go with her gut feeling.

But honestly...I mean, I'm 16. Only 16. I dont think its worth it at all. Not now anyways. I'm not ready at my age. Hell, I dont even have a boyfriend but even if I did I wouldnt do it. Thats just me though.

Anyways, I think when you're in high school, theres a lot of pressure and stuff and then you find out that its really not worth it. There are so many things to worry about when it comes to sex. I mean, you have to worry about pregnancy and diseases...and you cant trust anybody because no one gets themselves tested. So...I guess there really isnt a certain age but I think waiting until after high school would be better. And another thing, I dont think you hafta be married before you have sex. I think you have to truly love that person before you decide to go all the way with them...

yea, I really thing it depends on the person and the circumstances surrounding it. I myself haven't had sex yet, but I'm only in my first year of college. all the people I know have waited til at least college to lose it, so I don't feel like I'm behind or anything. i'm just waiting until I feel I'm ready, so maybe a few more years...I'm 19 and I think about sex a lot (I'm not going to deny it, because if you're a normal 16 - 23 year old, you think about sex all the time. so don't bother denying it cause everyone will know you're lying.) I'd give it a few more years for myself.

I'm 14 and think I'm going to wait until I am married to have sex. None of my friends have had sex (well, were a bunch of losers) but a couple people in my school have had sex. And if I do have sex before I am married I'm going to make sure it's the person I want to spend the rest of my life with.

I Honestly dont think about it that Much. Theirs A Girl I Like alot and i think about her almost 24/7, But not In Sexual Ways.
