Does anyone know where the house used for the exterior shots on the show is?

I'm guessing the house (the outside) isn't a set because in the 2nd season opening credits towards the end, the camera shows two homes and then Mama's house.

I was just wondering.

That is a real house definitely! But I have no idea where it is! Probably in California somewhere! Good question. I would like to know too!

In "The Mama of Invention" you can tell that the inside of the house is just a backdrop or something when looking through the open door from the outside. The coffee table looks circular from the outside view even though I checked and its not inside.

The house they used for the opening credits is indeed real - I heard it was in some "P" city in California....Probably Palisades? Correct me if I'm wrong.

But like Dogma said, the inside of the TV on the show is just a backdrop
