hey u guys. wuts up? what did you guys think of the episode
"opposites attract" part 1 ? i loved it. And jonathan taylor thomas looks so different than from the last time i saw him..which was in 1998 or so on Home Improvement. His hair color has changed and also he has gained some weight! I dont really like the fuller look on him. I used to think he was so hot on Home Improvement. he still looks sorta cute but chubbier. |

I personally didn't find it very funny. I thought a couple of Kaley Cuoco's lines were funny, and the asperin bit was pretty funny, but other than that, pretty bland. When Ritter was on, he could compensate for the lack of good writing on the show, with his timing and his sight gags. Now it seems the cast is relying on third-rate writing to get the laughs. I'm sorry to say it, but I think the show is on it's downward spiral.

I thought it was really funny. I'd pick out a favorite part, but I liked pretty much the whole episode. I'd say it was one of the best post-Ritter episodes the show has had.

I agree with TClover88 about JTT's looks. I have to say that he looka a little cuter without the glasses, and he was a lot cuter on Home Improvement in later episodes. I thought this episode had some funny moments, as well as blah moments.

Sorry if you disagree, but I still see it on the downward slant. I didn't recall Martin Spanjers getting any funny lines, and the laugh track didn't fool me at all. I don't think it came close to being one of the best post-Ritter shows, and I don't think they've been nearly as good since the transition period. I think it's one of ABC's better sitcoms, but I still think it's become just mediocre at best.

I guess I was wrong about the laugh track. I still think the writings kind of weak, but I might be a little biased, since I'm used to comparing them to classics like 'Three's Company' and 'All in the Family.' Not that many sitcoms can stack up to them these days.

Chekadude: maybe when you saw him on smallville it was a re-run. also on tv shows they can make someone look as ugly or as cute as they want to.
