I saw this question on another site
Something has been gnawing at the edges of my memory for a
long time, and, despite watching "Leave It to Beaver" reruns on TV Land, I have yet to see what I'm thinking of. I'm sure that I remember Barbara Billingsley slipping up in one episode, and calling TV husband "Ward" by his real name, Hugh. Anybody out there remember that? If so, what episode was that in? I seem to picture "June" standing by the fireplace in their "new" house, so it probably was a later episode... Thanks! this question was posted in the leave it to the beaver forum at tvtome.com, i was just curious as to the answer cause no one answered it there. thanks! |

I SAW THAT QUESTION ON TVLAND'S MESSAGE BOARD ABOUT A YEAR OR SO AGO. I REMEMBER THE POSTING, BUT I THINK SHE SAID "HUGH" IN THE VERY EARLY EPISODES IN THE OLD HOUSE. OR JUNE COULD HAVE BEEN SAYING "YOU".
