Post If you had never watched "The Facts of Life" . . .

If you had never watched "The Facts of Life", what would be different about you ?

Think about :

- what you would watch on TV
- what you would talk about
- what you would be obsessed with
- what you would do online
- what you would think about
- and anything else

... ... ... I don't know... ... ... I suppose I would not think about girls all day long. I would not know about alot I know now. I never really thought about it but FOL helped me realize I had to grow up or I'd be doomed when I go out into the real world. I would't be looking for a job if it weren't for Facts of Life. I may have even ran away(I have a very wild spirit). It's hard to say were I'd be. But FOL did save me...somehow...

-The Jeffersons, All in the Family, Wrestling, Movies(PPV)
-Game Shows(I still do that ANYWAY)
-see above
-look up different info on above
-once again, see above
-there's gotta be something I left out about the above.

*The only reason I don't mention game shows in the 1st one is it don't come on of a night (I don't watch Millionaire, Link, or them "Reality" shows...)

- what you would watch on TV
Diff'rent Strokes, Three's Company, and Happy Days.

- what you would talk about

It would be strange NOT talking about Nancy McKeon without knowing that she kicked but as Jo Polniaczek. Whatever other show she would have done instead, I guess that's what I'd be talking about!

Actually, I guess I'd be in the DF and HD boards more often.

- what you would be obsessed with

Same things that I'm obsessed with now, other than FOL.

- what you would do online

Meeting and talking to fellow fans of other shows

- what you would think about

A potential spinoff series of Diff'rent Strokes, starring Kimberly's friend "Tootie" and the housekeeper "Mrs.Garrett". and how great of a show it would be if it could ever happen!!

Actually, I would be more devoted to DF and Happy Days more than anything else.

I'd be really different. On one hand, I wouldn't spend as much time online or use up as many video tapes. On the other hand, I probably wouldn't know who Kim or Lisa or Charlotte or Nancy or Mindy are! I wouldn't have pictures to put on my bulletin board...I wouldn't be able to talk to all of you or discover all the other great FOL sites. If I hadn't started watching it, my mom and grandma wouldn't have either. We'd have nothing to talk about! I also wouldn't have such good role models. FOL really has made an impact.

1: I would prolly watch The Division Cuz... Well I had always planned on watchign it even when I DIDNT know Nancy McKeon was on it... I just realized it was her then put it right on no stalling (Ironic Huh?)
2: I would talk about shopping and MLB
3: Ummm... Major League Baseball.
4: Find anwers too upcomeing tests.
5: Ummm... No comment.

Chances are like one day Id switch on The DIvision Just to see what it was about and see NMK ans be like "She looks familiar, who is she???" Then id figure out she was on FOL and id start watching it. B cuz Lifetiem showed commercials for TD b 4 it aired... Weird reasoning but no matter what Id still end up obsessed with NMK and FOL.

------------------
On April 24, 2008 Kaley and I are going too meet in LA, and hancuff ourselfs too Nancy McKeons car, or better yet her! And your not! Were also gonna find Jay Harrington too.

Teddy: Be honest with me, not my parents!
Jinny: All right, fine. You want honesty? Why don't you let me tell you a little bit about my family? See, I never really had a birthday party unless you wanna count my 15th, when my father showed up for cake, plastered in his underwear! Oh, yeah, by the way, my mom couldn't make it that year either because, well, sadly, six months earlier she blew her brains out!!!!!
Teddy: Jinny, my God.
Jinny: As for my brother, uh yeah, John... see, he just doesn't like you unless your American, white, and straight! and for me, a few weeks ago when I had that nut case after me... yeah, I had to make a little list, of all the guys that I've slept with in the last two years. I couldn't remember some of their names.
Teddy:Stop! What are you...
Jinny: Ya know what? This is who I am, THIS IS MY FAMILY!!!! Come on, it's your turn. You go ahead, flash that all-American, prep school, choir boy smile and you tell me that it doesn't matter! *long pause* Yeah... Thats what I thought.

I wouldn't know who Nancy McKeon was, therefore I would never have started watching the DIVISION.

I wouldn't really have anything to do online, because I wouldn't come to this MB and I couldn't talk to peeps from the MB.

If I never watched FOL:

I'd probably not watch much TV, I mean, I don't get around to it til late at night.

I'd talk about music I'm into, upcoming movies, and (sorry to admit it but...) Harry Potter. Geez, those books are good...

Downloading music( I can't be stopped!), and sadly, again, Harry Potter.

Go to my standard movie headlines sites, music news, etc...

I'd think about how crazy I am for being obsessed with anything.
