Default CBS statment reguarding Janet/Justin

Here is what CBS and the Grammys said about why Janet Jackson was not at the Grammys and Justin Timberlake was at the Grammys.

They said that both were still invited to the Grammys, as long as both appology during the Grammys. Timberlake agreed to it.

Here is what I think. Janet Jackson did appology during the week, so why should she appology again? And the only opportunity she would have to appology is during the Luther Vandross tribute. I would have found that disrespectful to Luther for the Superbowl incident to be brought up during his tribute. And the media would have attacked Janet for disegrating the Luther tribute, by talking about herself.

CBS went out of their way to get Janet off of the Grammys, and keep Justin on the Grammys, without banning Janet.

I agree, Janet shouldn't have to apologize for it 200 times. Once was enough.

Why won't Kid Rock apologize for his crude VH1 promos where he took a dump on a chimney? That I think was more disturbing than Janet's tit.

I was disapointed that Timberflake didn't get any boos at the Grammys. The way he tried to put all the blame on Janet, and his "this past year has been so good for me, why would you turn against me over this" comments show what a little weasil he truly is.

From what I hear the music industry is furious at Justin Timberlake putting all of the balme on Janet Jackson, and that there would be boos directed at Justin.

The Grammys was on a 5 minite delay. CBS might haved edited the boos out and put in on some claps. And this is an award show, the unoffical code is that you don't boo anybody at an award show.

I am sure, you won't see Timberlake at the Hip Hop Sorce Awards, or at the Soul Train awards. The Hip Hop/R&B community adores Janet, and feel that she was stabbed in the back, and he would not make it out of their alive if he went to a pure Hip Hop/R&B awards show, or event.

That is so true!

At the Grammy's, Justin looked gulity we he was apologizing. He has changed his story so many times. When it first happened, he claimed it was to give the people something to talk about, and then when he found out that he might not be able to go to the Grammy's, he claimed he was appalled and then last night he apologized. Naw, I don't think he will be welcomed at The Hip Hop Source awards or the Soul Train awards. He did stab Janet in the back if you really think about it. Did you catch all the black folks he had singing back up for him, I'm thinking riiight, let's try and get on their side AGAIN *sarcasm* (sp?)

No one should have to apology more than once for anything. As long as they truly mean it when they apologize and I think Janet did when she did on TV. That's stupid that CBS did that. There's tons of celebs who do even crazier things that that who NEVER apologize and people just let them get away with it!

I saw the Grammys last week and Patti LaBelle was filled in for Janet Jackson because of her statement. After Justin Timberlake won a Grammy for "Cry Me A River", Justin was pleased for her apology on Janet.

Madderest

Now a federal appeals court has TOSSED the fine against CBS for the "wardrobe malfunction"!

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080721/..._janet_jackson

What's wrong with you, CBS??? Why can't you listen to the people and not "Big Entertainment" and just pay the fine??? Why contest it??? (Why can't InBev buy CBS instead of Anheuser-Busch???)

Didn't Justin say, "She made me do it. I didn't want to do it." What a wuss. That's not really an apology. That's putting the blame on Janet and nottaking responsibilty for what he did.
