Default "money talks--maddie walks"

"hell of an entrance, huh?"

maddie discovers the whereabouts of the man who embezzeled all her money. she follows him to buenos aries. and david follows her. after a great run through the casino, maddie realizes she will never see the rest of her money. and ends up giving up her dreams of getting it back.
the highlight of this episode to me is the growth of the relationship between the stars. dave cares.

rating: 5

This is also one of my favorites. Especially liked it when they played DeBarge's "You Wear it Well" when Maddie entered the casino. That was my jam

MAN!!! i must be rating these a lot lower that all you guys would. i just don't like the first season as much as you do. sorry. well, at least so far. but i liked it enough to keep watching as it originaly aired.
just remember, the rating is my opinion, no one elses and no influence from others. you guys just add two or three points to what i rate them as.

Well! Maybe we're just bigger fans than you, Bobby! *walks away in a huff*

I dunno...I liked that first season a lot, but I don't really remember my favorite season. What was yours? Haven't seen them in so long...

i loved the WHOLE series. BUT, i REALLY got into it more when they started really having feelings for each other. by the time, sam crawford came on, man..... that was it. you knew then how bad dave had it for her. and how much she tried to not admit it to herself her feelings for dave.
that is the best period after all that started to me.

this episode had jokes, music, shakespearean hostility, romance...i loved it.

a man standing on top of a building contemplating jumping off-
maddie:
addison, i know that man
david:
that's ok-i'm you friend too and it doesn't make me want to end it all.

i loved the fighting in the office before maddie went to buenos ares. (by the way-i don't know where buenos ares is either)

maddie dressing to 'you wear it well' with fire in her eyes.

maddie and david having fun playing craps. with this i found out david is a good date.

david and maddie sitting on the floor of the casino and the way his face lights up when he smiles at her.

david playing stud poker with maddie's former accountant and throwing the game. i know the accountant had a king up and david had two queens, but david is never the less, 'ace in the hole addison'
and it fits the shakespeare theme of hostility to perfection. maddie believes he threw the game too, when she said that he had stepped on her aorta.

from this i've learned that smart alec, sweet, fun david is also someone who believes all is fair in love and war.

i loved this episode.

I loved this one, too. They both looked terrific! The scene where he obviously wants to kiss her is very sexy. I think this episode was a turning point for the show. Maddie stops trying to get her old life back and starts really focusing on the business (and David!) The last scene proves that she's definitely interested in him even though she keeps denying it.

I love the scene where Maddie is getting dressed to kick some ass! And she WEARS IT VERY WELL.
They both look stunning in the gown and tux.
Dave is trying to kiss her but she is not ready for it yet, but they already share the "look" we all know....
There is definitely love in the air
