I've spent lots of time daydreaming about Alice's bedroom. I think I've discovered it's location.
It's on the other side of the family room at the back of the house. |

It's by the service porch. They show it on the episode where Alice sprains her ankle. Jan flooded the washing machine and when she comes into Alice's room, she has suds all over her shirt.

They also show Alice's bedroom in the episode where she is getting ready for her hot date with Mark Millard, the guy who marries women to get their life savings.

There was some inconsistency w/ the bedroom location in two first season eps that aired a month apart. In "The Big Sprain", the service porch is clearly located outside Alice's bedroom, but in "To Move or Not to Move" a month later, there is a hallway outside Alice's bedroom.

It's accessed through the kitchen. The kitchen door leads to a service porch. Once in there, there would need to be a door immediately on the left leading to Alice's bedroom, or paradise, as far as Sam is concerned.

She definitely had a bathroom.
The other downstairs bathroom is in the hall under the stairs, between the hall and Mike's den. The hall leads to the service porch also. |

This morning's episode showed Greg rescuing Bobby who was hanging outside the girls' bedroom after the ladder fell. The girls' bedroom was above the family room. You can't see the edge of the house because it slants out of view. But you can tell that there would need to be something underneath the boys' room. That's where Alice's room was. Her quarters may have been the same size as the kids' bathroom plus the boys' bedroom.

Has anyone ever actually drawn up a map to the Brady house? At Mayberry.com this has been done for the courthouse. It is pretty neat.

Yes. There is a book entitled "BradyMania" by Elizabeth Moran. The map of the downstairs is on page 127 and the map of the upstairs is on page 128.
