Default Some thoughts on DJ

I dont know if anyone noticed this, but DJ and Jesse rarely had any scenes alone together. The only one i can remember right now is when she wanted to get Stacy Q's autograph and she "interviewed" him. For gods sakes, he talked to Kimmy more than he talked to her. I do remember him having plenty of scenes with Steph, and even more with Michelle. Does anyone know why this was? Did John and Candace not get along or something?
Also, in the episode "Back to School Blues", i noticed last night that the guys kind of predict DJ's future.
Joey says "she's going to be driving a car" and in one of the seasons, he does indeed buy her a car.
Then Danny adds, "she's going to be dating guys" and Jesse says "like me". DJ does indeed date Viper, who was just like Jesse, in the case of loving rock n roll.
Just thought i'd share that. Any comments?

Default jESSE AND d.j.

They talked once when Jesse get her a drum set and gave her a anecdot from his own childhood. After the fight they sit on the sofa and talked and a tierd D.J. fall asleep. But yeah, they don´t talk so much, but much more than Jesse talked with Kimmy, cause they where family. But when you think and try to remeber a episode when they talked, thats goes hard but when you see the show and some episodes, you relize that they talked with each other more often than you think in the first place.

Well, look at the characters, Jesse might not do a lot with D.J. by himself b/c he's thinking about Pam, and D.J. just reminds him so much of her. Next do Danny and Stephanie he might miss her most, and maybe more than those two. So, it makes sense he'd choose to be an advisor to Steph and Michelle a little more.

Of course, maybe I credit the writers too much, but it sounds logical.

I can think of one:

1. "Up on the Roof:" Jesse helps D.J. hotwire the car at the top of the high school's roof to close the top down, so the car won't get its interior ruined.

There was also another one, but typing the one above made it disappear from my mind...

I'll have to get back to it another time when I remember...

They had the scene together where DJ convinced Jesse to play at her school dance (the beer episode), but he was mad about it.

I also remember a mini scene from last night on Nick-at-Nite. What about in the episode "Dr. Dare Rides Again" when the friend leaves, and D.J. comes into the living room to talk with Jesse.

What about the one in Season 3, when he thinks he catches D.J. drinking at a school dance? I think there are more Jessie and D.J. scenes than people think. Joey and Kimmy are two people that were never alone together and never really talked to each other. It's like Kimmy got on Danny and Jessie's nerves, but didn't really bother Joey.

I agree with the one with Joey and Kimmy never really talking. Joey only made a few wise cracks such as the one where D.J. is chosen school paper editorial, and she and Kimmy fight. When Kimmy is returning stuff, she gives Joey back a set of car keys or something, and he says, "Time for a new car alarm."

there's another one when Joey gets hurt really bad while Roller Blading and he's laying on the basement floor and Danny asks "did you hurt your back" and Joey says "Yes and my hand that Kimmy's standing on, Gibbler!!" and Kimmy says "What a Whinner!" another time in a season 2 episode Joey says "You know Kimmy some day your'e gonna make some lucky young man very...... confused."

Yeah that last one is hilarious. I never really thought about that whole Joey Kimmy thing, but you guys are right. However, about Jesse and DJ, i guess they have their moments, but still not as many as Jesse and Michelle, or Jesse and Stephanie. I know that in almost every episode there is a genuine Jesse Michelle moment. Also Stephanie in the earlier seasons would always force him to play with her and then there was the episode where he made her apologize to Duckface. I know they had lots more moments than that. I just dont feel the love between Deej and Jesse.

Why do you think Joey and Kimmy never talked much, and why do you think Kimmy didn't get to Joey like she got to Danny and Jesse?

Default Did D.J. remind Jesse too much of Pam?

I don't think it's less love, I hadn't noticed what you were saying before, but now...I wonder, did D.J. remind Jesse too much of Pam?

Remember, jesse would remember Pam as a pre-teen teenager. And, it might well be that, especially later, seeing D.J. just brought back too many painful memories of losing Pam for Jesse, and made him miss Pam all the more. So, he became kind of standoffish. that woudl certainly be like him.

Joey/Kimmy/ I think joey just has a very unique way of looking at things, so hardly anything gets to him.

Your'e right, the only times Kimmy really got to Joey is when she was stepping on his hand when he hurt himself roller blading, and when she took his car keys.
