Default Hello Everyone

it's been a long time since i have posted on here. i have read all of the recent threads. i do have to say that the one concerning bill's fathering abilities was a bit disturbing. he was a wonderful man and father. christopher was a lucky child, as was i, to have had bill in our lives. i believe he would have made an amazing father. he was like one to me.
anyway, it has been a busy time for me since i last posted. i dislocated my shoulder in england while performing with dead kennedys. i finished the tour 5 days later, came home, promptly quit the band and went to work on the roseanne show. the show was cancelled after 4 months so i went to work at mtv on viva la bam, and now i am at the discovery channel and editing american chopper. my wife is as beautiful as ever and my children are getting bigger and smarter every day. i have a few projects in the works, two of which are eddie's father projects. i will let you all know as soon as i hear more. it's a weird business, and it takes a long time to get anything done. i wish you all health and happiness. thanks for visiting this site and for remembering the show. it means a lot to those of us who made it.
take care,
brandon cruz

Default Hi Brandon, Thanks For the Update

Hi Brandon. Thanks for the update.
I've been one of your fans since Eddie's Father premiered in 1969 and by coincidence, your wife and I share the same first name.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to the 2 Eddie's Father projects you mentioned. I also saw on the Internet that you're working on your autobiography. How's that coming along? I can hardly wait to read it.
I'm so glad you and your family are well.

Always A Fan,
Liz Crasten

Bill Bixby would have been a great father, either as a real father or a surrogate father.

Cool to hear from you! I loved COEF, and watched it every day after school. You were one lucky kid to have worked so closely with Bill Bixby. I saw you on MixItUp the other day while channel surfing. Best wishes always,

Default Inspiration

Brandon and Board,
I wanted to share a story about the Courtship of Eddie's father. A coworker of mine is a Vietnam Vet, and he married a woman much younger than he. They had a son four years ago and then she got breast cancer. She died two years ago, leaving her two year old son with his much, much older father.
I was privledged to be at a reading with a medium for the father, as he wanted to talk with his wife. It's been two years, he's not getting any younger, and he wanted to talk to her about seeing other women and his devotion to his son. She mentioned the Courtship of Eddie's father and said his situation was like that. It was very moving and helped to bring light to the situation.
I guess the moral of the story is that you never know the good that comes from your work, and it affects people you'll never know in situations you've not imagined. Thank you Brandon.
