Default Why didn't the trio ever say their ages?

In some sitcoms the characters reveal their ages whether they're true or not. Did that ever happen on TC??

Talking Jack's age was sort of revealed in "The Crush"!

In "The Crush" episode where a 12 yr. old girl named Laurie tried to convince Jack about how their age difference is not soo much

I don't know her exact words but I remember her saying

"When I'm 26, you'll be 38."

Since Laurie is about 12, that would make Jack about 24 in that episode which aired in 1978!

they had to be younger than 30 if larry thought
30 was an 'older' woman in the "older woman" episode

Default I Agree!

They were definitely all under 30, when the show started. I think Larry was about 3-4 years older than Jack. I think Jack was about 23 and Larry about 26 in "The Older Woman" ep.!

Come on...we were supposed to think they were that young?!
Jack is clearly in his late 20's. Larry 26? More like 36! He had to dye his hair to cover the gray!

I would say around 25 when the show started. By the end of the show, Jack and Janet were in their early 30's and Teri was in her late 20's.

Default John Ritter

I believe it was revealed on True Hollywood Story (or one of those specials), that John Ritter was 26 when the first show was actually taped in 1977.

in the show they were supposed to be in their early 20s when the show started so when they moved out they would all be ~ 30.

but i think that some actors (larry for example) were a little older in real life than in the sitcom

Yeah Larry was 33 when the show started and 40 when it ended. That's hard to believe he was 40 in 1984 in that last episode. So Larry is about to or already had his 60th birthday. WOW
